But that means either a character would have to die in each game, which they realized people didn't like when they offed Gat. Or keep bringing back Lin and Carlos. Although I think it would have been interesting if in 4 they did let the player experience survivors guilt of some sort over Lynn and Carlos. Revive them in the sim just like they did with old deceased enemies. They deserved better!

Been replaying Saints Row 1 via backwards compatibility the past week. I forgot how fun this game is, and it really needs a remaster of some kind. It would be absolutely amazing to see the beginning of Saints Row with updated graphics and mechanics

For whatever reason I have a very distinct memory of there being a giant plesiasaur out in the ocean by the sunken pirate ship island and it swimming around the ocean with little animation. I remember it chasing after me in a boat and the boat instantly blowing up and me dying the second it touched me. That was roughly 10 years ago and after finally getting a copy again (and watching Easter egg videos) I found out that it wasn't there. It's a weird thing in my memory because I remember it so clearly. I'm sure that what happened was my memory of the pirate ship, tiny plesiasaur by the Volition Island, and giant bunny all blended together and formed weird memory of something that doesn't exist. It's just something I've always found to be interesting.

@@BullworthGraduate I can see why they went in the direction that they did to distance them from GTA (though GTA V makes me think of SR 2) but they went too far. Didn't mind 3 so much but 4...ugh. and even Gat out of hell coulda been better but somehow it felt like a more solid story than 4. Though both 4 & GoH felt so claustrophobic map wise. But thankfully it's possible to go back thanks to time travel and/or the retcon ending so let's hope the next installment is an improvement.

@Adrian Scott thats fine, they don't. I put in 4 again for some reason and was bored and depressed by super traveling a map I've played before in perpetual night (even the other modes didn't help) so there was little for me to explore, due to the super powers I had bullied through all of the activities with mainly gold and silver rankings so I had no reason to go back to do better there. With GooH my only okay was exploring hell but that became annoying because Dex would spawn in and I was tired of repeatedly beating a husk with a hat. I love the series but damn were the "special" husks and revenge on Dex lazy. It was a quick and cheap game but still. I'm replaying 2 & 3 recently and finally (idk why I haven't before) will get the DLCs for both.

@Adrian Scottnow I'm curious, would you mind explain how you feel that 2 is more exaggerated and crazier than 3? Only thing I disliked about three was shaundi's personality change. Not that it change but we didn't get to really witness that transition and it's weird because you go through the game seeing and hearing all of these hints that she was still like her formal self for awhile afterwards even if the reason given is because of what happened with Vet Child and some survivor's guilt. She just came off as annoyed and angry from the start.

Also should put in GTA to see if their gas stations also do that, I can't remember if they go all Michael Bay or not.

The sea monster is not actually a Plesiosaur. I started searching the internet and found a short necked Plesiosaur called the Pilosaurus. This is no doubt what this sea creature is. It grew to about 12 meters or about 39 feet. So this secret dinosaur definitely is a baby Pilosaurus.
