I'm grateful to be living 30 minutes away from the city, an hour away from the mountainous areas and around 2 hours away from very nice beaches.. Honestly I can see some small Nemo just using goggles while standing.. this is in some protected areas.. 😊 Can even go to a small sandbar that gets lost during high tide by 20 minutes boat ride with 1 hour by the road fom our house.. not to mention pools that are filled with spring water and can also visit some falls.. Any of the above can be done on a day trip.. so my weary soul can always replenish with nature.. you just need the time.. ☺️

8:23 🇵🇭 That's where I'm from and at. That's my and within my home *City of Zamboanga* in the Zamboanga Peninsula or Zamboanga Peninsula Region, within the Western Mindanao or southwestern Philippines area. It is a multicultural, multi-ethnic, multi-religious, and multilingual city, one of the highly urbanized (and independent) cities of the Philippines, one of the largest cities of the Philippines by area and/or also population, a city that's even larger than some other provinces in the Philippines in terms of area and/or population, and a city with a mix and blend of indigenous or native Filipino and Austronesian, Malayo-Indonesian, Islamic, especially Sunni, as well as Christian, especially Catholic, Filipino Chinese, and strong Hispanic or Spanish and Latin American cultures and heritages, especially evident on the city's and one of the city's local and regional languages and main or major lingua francas or common/bridge/link languages, which is Chavacano or Chabacano. The Chavacano or Chabacano is the Philippine Spanish or Spanish-based language, creole, creole language, or a group or collection of linguistically-related Spanish or Spanish-based creole varieties, subvarieties, variants, subvariants, variations, versions, forms, and/or dialects, which is also the only Spanish or Spanish-based language, creole, creole language, or group or collection of linguistically-related Spanish or Spanish-based creole varieties, subvarieties, variants, subvariants, variations, versions, forms, and/or dialects in Asia. Chavacano or Chabacano is the native or first language, as well as the main, major, or primary language of the city's majority or predominant ethnic and linguistic or ethnolinguistic and also cultural group, people group, or community - the eponymous Zamboangueños or Zamboangueño-Chavacanos of and from Zamboanga City, which is also why the same demonym (name based on place, area, or location) of Zamboangueño is also used to name, call, or refer to all and the rest of the population or the people and permanent residents of the city, although the rest are of or belonging to other ethnic and linguistic or ethnolinguistic and also cultural and ethnoreligious groups, people groups, or communities. To be more accurate and specific, most of the population or local people and permanent residents of the city and which is its ethnic and linguistic or ethnolinguistic and also cultural Zamboangueños or Zamboangueño-Chavacanos, use and communicate Chavacano Zamboangueño, Zamboangueño Chavacano, or Chavacano de Zamboanga as their Chavacano or Chabacano's variety, variant, variation, version, form, or dialect, which originated, emerged, and mainly developed from the present-day city. It also has the highest number of native or first-language speakers and total speakers of all Chavacano or Chabacano's varieties, subvarieties, variants, subvariants, variations, versions, forms, and/or dialects, and then it spread to other nearby, neighboring, surrounding, or immediate provinces (and their towns and cities) of Zamboanga City. The city also has the highest number of native or first-language speakers and total speakers of not just the more specific Chavacano Zamboangueño, Zamboangueño Chavacano, or Chavacano de Zamboanga variety, variant, variation, version, form, and/or dialect in the Philippines and the rest of the world, but also of the whole or entire and general Chavacano or Chabacano itself, also in the Philippines and the rest of the world, thus the city also has the nickname or monicker of the "Asia's Latin City".

If you're visiting our country, don't just stay in the city. There is soooo much to see outside the city as the ads is showing you. Go there on February 2025 so you can also catch BINI's Grand BINIverse Repeat Concert. The volcano you're asking about is Mayon, the world's most perfect cone volcano. There's also Taal Volcano, a volcano inside a lake inside a volcano inside a lake. NOT KIDDING! Depending on the tide, sometimes there is more than 7,641 island in the Philippines. Some of them uninhabited, but accessible. There are private island here. February to July is the perfect weather for exploring.

I like this very much! Thank you for going out of your 'normal' rv subjects. Goes to show that we are slowly creeping into that heart of yours. Come over, we will welcome you with open arms. One of the characteristics Pinoys are most known for is our hospitality. I am sure, you must have recieved a lot of offers to be your tour guide, if ever you decide to visit. Just a background info - the videos you just compiled here were 'submitted' by tourists who have frequented the Philippines, some decided to live & move here for good. They were invited to share their "perspective" of how it is to wake up in the Philippines. And yes -- this was during the pandemic where everyone was advised to stay home. Another interesting video you may want to take a watch is NAS Daily's "8 Days in the Philippines". It covers more than just the beautiful tourist spots - but also some other details of how it is here in PH --a compact summary of PH in just 8 minutes.

About the history of the philippines... You definitely won't be disappointed. Pre colonial Philippines with its many kingdoms, then the start of the Spanish colonization spanning 333 years, even the British at one point occupied Manila. The American colonization and of course WWII in which Philippine waters became the naval battleground for America and Japan and ships from that time can still be found today. The Philippines is a treasure trove of history and places here definitely reflect that.
