Hey Sammy.....I've been watching Got 7 since seeing a video with Namjoon and Jackson together as great friends. Have to say my bias'in got 7 are Jackson and Bam, who also have been putting out great solo work since their departure from previous mgmt. So in the NaNaNa video the person’s voice that you really liked was Jay B. I would recommend his solo stuff. Got7 fans are called igot7 but in Korean its shortened to Ahgase, which means baby bird. You’ll notice got7 use a lot of birds in their MV’s and sometimes a bird symbol in their choreography to represent fans. I don't mean to offend anyone but got7 is very different and ahead of their time in music. If you do was released way before fake love. When everyone in kpop putting hard beat chorus in 2019, got7 slapped with an anti-drop chorus mellow bop you calling my name. Just right and if you do is released same year tells about their versatility. This year everyone is putting very hard beats with electronic influence which make me miss mellow side of kpop and got7 again drop NANANA, so vibey so dreamy....remind me a lot of when kpop used to make mellow music full with vocals instead of hard beats and noise. 🥺

This was a year ago but your comment is still on point. LOL The reason why GOT7 is my ultimate is because of their songs. Their group and solo songs especially solo ones because all of them are self-producing singers and songwriters and what's amazing is that they all have different sounds when you listen to each member's solo album. While JAY B and Yugyeom we already know that they dig more on RnB/Hiphop/Soul kind of music, JAY B himself is out of this world because he also produces very funky and pop sounds like his solo song "go UP" which was released just last year. That whole album was a bop and totally leaning on vibey and western kind of music style where 2 songs are completely in English! What's more amazing is his work as Def. which is his producer name where he also released 2 EPs with a Love and breakup theme back to back. If you listen to the sound of the songs from his Def. work, it's totally different from JAY B work and his songs as well which he writes for GOT7. IDK but for me this is the reason I'm finding it hard to not make him my ultimate bias because literally he can do anything. Not only that, he also co-produces and releases songs with his musician producer and crew friends under the group name Offshore, formerly Paradise Crew and boy, I'm telling you, they make such beautifully arranged soulful/Rnb/hiphop music that you mostly wouldn't get in the Kpop mainstream. It's totally self-composed and produced and just pure talent. JayB (Jaebeom) has such a distinct voice/tone; actually they all do, which is why I love the group as a whole. If you dive in deeper to GOT7... especially their videos of them just being chaotic, you'll become such a fan. They're all so endearing, even if you have a bias/favourite, it hard not to love them all! I feel like you'll really like JJ Projects album, which is a subunit of GOT with JayB and Jinyoung. I also recommend Trust My Love & Focus on Me (the 2nd song is just Yugyeom & Jay B in a subunit called Jus2) If you didn’t know, they are all practically best friends with BTS. Mark is close with V, Jackson is close with RM, and BamBam & Yugyeom are in a 97 liners chat with Jungkook. I think I’ve heard that Jay B & Suga are friends as well. Jungkook & Yugyeom are literally best friends. There are multiple compilations of them together & also just BTS & Got7 in general. If You Do came before Fake Love too as far as I can remember. What's good about my boys is that they come up with different concepts and styles every time. Just right was a huge hit especially because of how rich its message is (You should really check out their lyrics). Also, as time passes by, they found their sound much more especially since they have heavily participated on their recent ones. I will recommend their debut Girls Girls Girls, Hard Carry, You Are and Look.. You Are (2017) was the first Title Track written by a member, leader JayB did both You Are and Look (2018)💚💚 They started having more imput on their songs after If You Do.. So 2016 was the year where we got to hear their style way more, but mostly on their b-sides.. They left JYPE in January last year because they wanted full control over their music.. So NaNaNa and the self titled album GOT7 is their first album since they left the company, and they actually left with all their rights, so GOT7 owns GOT7.. Leader JayB (my Ult) made sure they got all their rights 😌🙌🏻 That's why this CB is extra special, especially to the fans but also for the whole industry 💚

If “If You Do” was more in line with your musical taste, you will enjoy all of their albums. Much of their non-title tracks fall in line with classic pop-r&b sounds. You may also easily notice a trend in GOT7’s “environment” of sounds that you were picking up on here. Like, if you were to create a playlist of K-pop music you haven’t heard yet, I bet 80% (if not more) of your guesses that a song was GOT7’s would be correct. That’s what is so great about being a fan of them, because even if you’re not a huge fan of a song, you still get why they made it, and that they did well with it.

A couple of notes that might help you. In Just Right they didn't use a green screen. They had an oversized set! For You Calling My Name it helps to know a bit about Korean culture.People are rarely called by their first name except when super close. Honorifics are often used including work titles and such even with people you know quite well. Even adults are regularly referred to as "so and so's mom." To be called by your name is really personal. During the fan chants the GOT7 fandom chant the name of the members: JayB, Mark-u, Jackson, Park Jinyoung, Choi Youngjae, Bambam, Kim Yugyeom, GOT7! So when they sing about missing or not feeling complete when they don't hear they name being called, this is a desire to be in touch with the fans. You might have already been told this, but the fandom's official name is IGOT7. Koreans would say this with a Korean pronunciation and it would be shortened, as is the custom to something that sound like Ah Ha Say. Ahga is baby in Korean and Sae (say) is bird. Because of this we get feathers and birds representing the fandom in almost every video. Also our fandom color is a bright green. I would recommend doing video to get to know them and then go through each of the MVs. Don't skip the sub units JJ Project (which actually came before GOT7 so it isn't really a subunit) featuring leader JayB and Jinyoung and JUS2 featuring leader JayB and the maknae Yugyeom. JUS2 is more R&B in flavor. The solo work of the members from this past year are more indicative of their personal sound and need to be praised. I also love some of the concert unit stages.
