ABS-CBN was actually a Big Company here in PH. But due to unfortunate reasons, they couldn't renew thier franchise, as a result the company was shut down but even though, they still managed to make the company work and they have so many well-known Artists here in the Philippines under thier management.

Sandara Park of 2NE1 was discovered by ABS-CBN's artist search in the 2000s. Even though she's full blooded korean, she's fluent in Tagalog for living in the Philippines since childhood. She's a well loved celebrity here before she transitioned to K-pop. Her, being a part of ABS-CBN before, I always wonder if there'll be a BINI/Sandara Park collaboration someday.

Aiah was a model and beauty pageant crown holder before she joined the training. Training already begun for months before she was put on the project. She was the last one to join. From eldest to youngest: Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna and Sheena. They started when they were between the ages of 15 to 18 years old. 8:07 ABS CBN is the biggest and the number 1 television/entertainment network in the Philippines. Then, the previous administration decided not to renew their license to operate as a TV network due to political issues (political power tripping). But the company continued producing shows, movies, developing artists, etc. Now, their shows are just streamed online and televised through other tv networks.

Hard-work beats talent. This is why these girls have a special place in every bloom’s heart. Aiah is juggling between work and college life (she’s a dean’s lister btw). Colet and Maloi just graduated from senior high. The rest of the girls are also studying (senior high).

Just say it exactly, ABSCBN was a large critic of Duterte's incompetence of running a government that's why. Duterte is not just incompetent but a narcissist leader. Now he's not on the throne he's going to pay a lot of his sins. I'm not going to expound it here, just google it. Edit: Duterte Diehard Supporters (DDS) made a propaganda against ABSCBN about not paying taxes, Internal Revenue Executive have already clarified about the thing but DDS people have already planted the lies in their minds because they got blinded by their gullibility.

ABS-CBN was a TV Network that not only produced artists like BINI, but also produced many telenovelas, movies, and reality shows that are well-loved by the Filipino people, but the government didn't renew their franchise which was honestly due to politics. They were pushed out so suddenly through a cease and desist order. They still operate today but only via an online platform now.

After part 2, I suggest checking out Karen Davila's interview with them first before getting into their funny moments. It's like the continuation of BINI Chronicles part 1 and 2. As you may know, it was only recently that they gained popularity after their Pantropiko went viral. In this interview, they talk about their 3 years being unnoticed by the public even after they debuted, their struggles during covid, how they resolve issues with each other and more. Your respect for Aiah will go even higher, as well as for other members. 13:55 they started audions back in 2018… 6 years ago. The oldest members are 23 now. So they were 15-18 when they started training.

Make sure to find the one with English subtitles (a bloom edited the vid to have English subtitles for international fans) so please watch it after you watch the Bini Chronicles. Get to know them more! These girls are the pinnacle of Good Daughters and Responsible Young Women. Arghhhh

10:11 Just a little detail BINI puts in their videos is they tend to show each member from the eldest to the youngest; I noticed it in their dance practice videos with their names arranged that way, and in this video as well by arranging them the same way. And yes, in that case, Maloi is the 3rd oldest behind Aiah and Colet.

their management is huge actually but debuting a ppop group (during pandemic and company shut down) is a total risk because ppop group is relatively new in the Philippines so there was no guarantee if they could make it to the mainstream.

They were really young when they first started out. Aiah was the eldest at 18, followed by Colet & Maloi at 17, then Gwen, Stacey & Mikha @16, and Jhoanna & Sheena @15. To have them go through the process of elimination (30k girls down to 8), and then undergo the rigid training that they did, is quite impressive.

@@LyzCriS I'm not sure but I may have heard something like almost 30k actually auditioned in the course of the audition period in various cities. Only 300 girls got call backs to go to Manila for the boot camp. Pls do correct me if it isnt accurate.

I am so used to idols doesn't have any experience before being a trainee in an entertainment industry (If you're an SM stan, you know what I mean) but I always find it amazing how they worked so hard and they are now a professional Singers/Dancers

Actually, these BINI Chronicles mini movies started with Aiah; she is the oldest of them all, followed by Colet and Maloi until the youngest member, Sheena, respectively.

ABS-CBN is huge in the Philippines, but medium sized compared to Korean firms or American media companies - it lost its franchise to broadcast due to politics in 2020, then realigned to more of content creation and streaming. It also owns one of the two major Philippine record labels. And a talent management firm for music and movie stars.

Aiah was a beauty queen, she's from a pageantry background. I don't know about how you guys think but me personally i think she had a boost of confidence already. Singing and dancing roots from one's self esteem/confidence. Anyone can learn sing and dance as long as they can perform Infront of a crowd. I'll give you guys a reality check, these girls already had it in them. Their talent didn't just came out of nowhere, like a simple introverted kid becoming an idol. They can face crowd already, they only developed HARDWORK after audition. So if anyone of you plan to be a bigshot like them, you don't need good skills/talents, you need confidence first and then determination to improve.

Their label, ABSCBN, is one of the biggest media broadcaster here in the Philippines. The company lost their license as the free TV broadcaster as well as their frequency channel last 2020 because of some violations, which is not true, and also due to political reasons. They never shut down as the company continue to strive more together with their talented artists and is now the number one CONTENT CREATOR here in the Philippines.

11:11 I think their faith really sustains them and grounds them. Nothing wrong with expressing one’s beliefs. I am assuming some if not most of them are Catholic but they are champions of inclusivity, equality and LGBTQ+ rights.

ABSCBN is a huge media company - Radio (DZMM) & TV broadcasting (ABSCBN Channel 2), movies (Star Cinema) to music (Star Music) and talent management (Star Magic). However, ABSCBN Channel 2, was not renewed of their franchise to operate which was mostly their bread & butter. Despite the broadcasting shut down, ABSCBN continued to produced TV shows - ( thru Netflix, KZbin, Amazon Prime, Viu & other broadcasting channels), movies, music and still manages artists.

Technically, ABS-CBN Corp. wasn't shut down. They're obviously still operating. But a few of their subsidiaries, shows and regional offices were. Much of their financial struggles stemmed from the government denying them of their right to broadcast on free-to-air TV (It's their ability to operate a TV channel that was shut down, not the company itself). They are still the largest media company in the Philippines that produces content with various subsidiaries/divisions that operate OTT platform (iWantTFC), manage talents (Star Magic), produce TV shows (ABS-CBN Studios), music (Star Music), movies (Star Cinema), etc.

ABSCBN is a giant entertainment media company in the Philippines with hands in tv shows, movies, news, music, variety shows, game shows and etc. They're one of the major news networks and were shut down from being able to air on the free-to-air channel that news networks are allowed to play on and thousands of people lost their jobs. This all happening during covid too. But as a company, they're too big to completely shut down altogether. Bini was a new PRJOECT that they could've dropped in the midst of all the crisis, especially since they weren't MAKING money from them. What ABSCBN did was put their trust in the girls and their goal to make ppop global when that isn't the norm. If anything, keeping Bini was more likely to be a negative investment given the state of the ppop industry in the Philippines, let alone around the world during that time.
