SM really emphasizes vocals. They train their artists like mad. Running on treadmills, running up and down stairs with weights on their ankles...all to learn how to control their breath to support singing, while exerting amazing amounts of energy. Their performances are EPIC as a result. Actually, all SM artists are amazing live. This version of Wolf really is outrageous! Thanks for the reaction! EXO really is so much better live than in the studio!

I think SM has a separate division that manages their idols’ concert tours called Dream Maker. The crew is working simultaneously while the concert is ongoing. So there are no gaps within songs. It’s so great of you to notice of them as well!! And so if you have producers that gives this variety in music, staff and crew that gives brilliance to the stage, and EXO that delivers the vocals and choreography expected of them; then you will have a performance like this. SM may not be the best company but they indeed have the best people 😄😄
