Jey Uso might not be the best choice, but honestly, I don’t mind it at all. It’s important to remember that his build didn’t just start last week-it’s been developing for almost half a decade now. He’s an incredibly over talent, capable of making an entire stadium erupt with just one celebration. The only downside is that if he chooses to challenge Gunther at WrestleMania, it wouldn’t be a first-time matchup but rather a rematch from last week. For those who believe that a wrestler coming from the tag team division can't win the Royal Rumble, that’s a narrow-minded take. By that logic, neither The Prototype nor Deacon Batista should have been able to win it. Anyone who was hoping for John Cena to win the Rumble can rest easy-he'll win the Chamber. A match between Cody and Cena is too big not to happen. Lastly, just a few months ago, everyone was complaining about the predictability of Triple H’s booking, and now that he pulled off a surprise, people are still complaining. P.S. Punk vs. Rollins or the fatal 4-way absolutely does not need a title to be a main event.

Honestly I don't mind either. Unlike the women's Royal Rumble, the men's was 100% unpredictable. People thought Cena was going to win because it's his last run. People thought Punk was going to win because he's never won a rumble nor main evented WrestleMania. And Reigns was a strong contender as well having not been in the rumble itself for like 3 years and wanted to have a rematch against Cody. Even Drew and Seth had good reasons for winning it as well.

There is honestly only two things I would have changed in the women's Rumble match. First, I would have had Alexa and Nikki's entrances swapped leading to Alexa to be in the final 4 instead. Second, I would have had Liv and Roxanne's eliminations swapped. That way Liv could still be the one to eliminate Alexa, while also letting Liv become runner-up three years in a row. That would set Liv up to becoming frustrated at always coming in second at the Rumble and making it her mission to actually win next year.

Jey losing to Gunther at SNME and picking him again makes more sense than Jey randomly picking Cody. Plus Jey vs Cody is a MASSIVE step down from the predicted Cody vs Rock from last year's events or even Cody vs Cena/Punk/Roman/Randy since Rock is not available. If you look at it for the past year Jey has been on the chase for the World Heavy Weight Championship. Failing against Damian Priest at Backlash, failing against Gunther at King of the Ring tournament to get a Championship shot, failing again at Gunther last SNME, they have the underdog story there with Jey like Sami vs Gunther for the IC title. The only thing is that with the star power the WWE has it doesn't feel as blockbuster for a Mania main event when you have Cena, Rollins, Punk, Roman Reigns in the roster.

As far as Jey Uso goes, that dude has been one of if not the most over guy in the whole company and sells so much damn merch. They are gonna want to make the journey as dramatic as possible so then when he dles win it, its all the sweeter. Winning the Rumble just gets rid of that part of the journey

I think the reason they had Jey Uso won the rumble after he lost to Gunther is because He is going after Cody. That would make more sense especially since EC will probably consist of Cena, Punk, Rollins, McIntyre, Zayn, and Reigns. With Punk, Rollins, Zayn, and McIntyre having ties to Gunther, it would make the Elimination Chamber more interesting heading into WM. Plus, Jey Uso also has ties to Cody and the title. Being tag team champs with Cody and chase after the title he originally competed for back in 2020 and 2023. Going after the title his cousin held for so long.

It's not about Cena winning it or not winning it, as you said it was one of the most stacked royal rumble ever so it needed to be more than fair to have all the favourites in the finals. If you want unpredictability that would be by putting final 4 roman seth cena and roman. If you want to have midcarders to win royal rumbles do that in a year where the royal rumble isn't that stacked.

Jey, instead of going after Gunther, goes after Cody. They can tell the story of how Cody starts to believe that everyone is betraying him, leading to a slow heel turn. Cody tells Jey that he’s just like Roman, that he’s not on his level, and feels betrayed by Jey. Jey is already talking about how he wants to put the company on his back. At WrestleMania, Jey defeats Cody, but Cody is visibly angry. Eventually, he turns heel on Jey, going on a Homelander-like heel run. No matter what Cody does, the fans still support him-they still buy his merch, want to meet him, he will act like a babyface, but with that darkside to him . With Jey winning, this could also open the door for Roman wanting his title back, potentially setting up The Rock vs. Roman. Additionally, it could lead to Randy vs. Cody, further expanding the storyline

I don't think it's fair to say that people who don't like the Jey Rumble decision 'always complain.' I generally enjoy the shows and love the direction it had in 2024, but thinking it's a bad decision is still okay. We don't have to blindly love the product - [remember Dwayne taking Cody's spot 12 months ago?]. Jey wasn't a good choice IMO because we've seen him face Gunther enough. Jey losing at SNME was his setup to go into Wrestlemania for a rematch with Gunther. Jey was so close to beating Gunther and he said after that match that he knows he can win. Another couple things to add context to the Indianapolis as whole for the event. 1. The reason the crowd came off as quiet is because I’m almost certain the production was off for the stadium itself. The crowd was absolutely losing their minds at a lot of the stuff in the rumble but the hot mics were likely only picking up the lower half of the stadium. 2. Lucas Oil Stadium isn’t a stadium that is designed to funnel sound real well to the point where it almost sounds soundproofed. This was the first time I’ve been to a WWE event where my ears didn’t immediately go deaf from fireworks shooting off. A lot of people in the upper decks thought the show sounded very quiet. This is the first show they’ve ever ran in this venue so they probably didn’t realize how poorly sound traveled. 3. In regards to the DIY vs MCMG match, it wasn’t that people didn’t give a damn, it was people who left to get something to eat or use the restroom were stuck waiting in lines for up to 30 minutes because the event as a whole was understaffed, and unfortunately there were a lot of people who were getting restless because they were missing the match because of the staffing issues. This is a stadium that is primarily used for Football and nothing else so the city probably massively underestimated how this event was going to go. They probably didn’t expect near 30000 fans to rush the snack bars at a moments notice after the women’s royal rumble.

The only thing I would have changed about the men's rumble match is that I would have put Drew in the final 6 instead of Logan. My biggest issue with the rumble was the spot where Nia eliminated everyone. It sucked the wind out of the match and afterwards it was extremely obvious who was going to win. It upset me that Iyo had been in well over an hour and she was unceremoniously eliminated. Not to mention Iyo could have used the win way more than Charlotte because Charlotte is going to win her title match at WM while Iyo isn’t.
