You can really tell that MaryCarl loves her birds by the amount of work she puts into making good nutritish food for them. Some would just buy bird seeds and leave it at that. But she wants to lie best for her birds 🐦 🐦‍⬛. That's absolutely wonderful!!

Goodness. I use to have two macaws, they live with other family members because I am no longer in the same country. Jack is a blue and gold, the other Jill is a green wing. Both from hatch 🐣. Older they got the more vegetables they loved, we did have a freeze dryer back then but wow that’s a game changer! Fresh only lasts a day or two, that will last so much longer and more healthy. .. my birds are still alive well. They are about 40 now. Blessings.

I LOVE my Harvest Right Freeze Dryer! I use it to help lessen the amount of canning I have to do when I bring in my garden harvest. I also use it to provide freeze dried meals for my brother in law who is a trucker. I freeze dry steaks, shrimp, chili, onion and pepper mix and lots of other stuff. He keeps it stored under his bunk and doesn't have to worry about keeping it cold. When he pulls in for the night he has a quick and delicious meal ready in no time. When I find a great sale on something, like avocados for instance, I buy a bunch and freeze dry them. We live a good distance from town so if I want avocados or something like that I can't just run to the store. My freeze dryer allows me to "run to my pantry" instead.

I completely agree! And just think, in a month or two she'll be able to feed her birds from the family kitchen garden. What fun to walk out the door to pick some veggies that she can then go into the kitchen and freeze dry it for them! It doesn't get any more nutritious and cheaper than that!😊

I found this to be very educational. On one of our trips to Panama, my Aunt Raquel showed me how she feeds the wild birds that live near her home. She has a small piece of sturdy wire fencing in a tree like a platform. She picked a papaya and sliced it into large pieces. She placed them on the fencing for the birds to eat. All sorts of birds showed and had a feast. Would you please show the birds eating what Mary Carl and you made in this video. Thanks.
