WILL AI WORKERS REALLY WORK ON FARMING SIMULATOR 25?!

I am so curious about this system! Can't wait to throw some curveballs at it in modded maps. Fields that are separated by only a very narrow stripe of grass. Or fields with electricity poles in the middle of it. Or tree islands in the middle of fields. Wonder how those things will be handled or if they require manual work instead. Also, that 1st person screenshot at the beginning shows a hand on the steering wheel. Is that new? So far hands have always been invisible, right?

I'm excited but cool at the same time. I've lived through enough game releases over the years that I can deal with the wait. Aside from that I don't know of many recent game releases that did not come with required updates/patches, etc. and given GIANTS recent history, lets just say I'm cautiously optimistic.

Yes, NEVER preorder. No matter how shiny the cookies are. In this case, there were no cookies. Least for me, could care less about swathing since it really is a gimmick more than anything to begin with.

@@superfly1842 Lol. Nah. Strongly disagree. I'm not against preorders. I'm just not cool with companies rushing out product to market before all the bugs have been worked out of final code. I'm very excited about new gameplay elements. It gives us something different to do. The swathing is literally ripped from a very popular mod so it's not a gimmick.

The improved AI is very much something I'm looking forward to. I've wanted to build a large company in FS for a while, but I'm pretty much exclusively a solo player, so having better workers will be very helpful.

Awesome that it’s base game now. But, why can’t we set our own AB lines like in Wopsters gps? And can you use multiple workers on one field (2 or more combines) like we already can in Courseplay? If not, the skip lines option is useless.

My thinking on the skip lines bit is, basically crop row lines, you know to spray a crop without damaging the crop, but done in an easy way as to close off the seeder outlets first tyre width may be too difficult to code in, why I don’t know

No it’s ment for multiple vehicles like 2 or more combines in the field. But this light courseplay will probably limited to only one worker in the field.

What giants should have done is let us use it on console on 22 and then implimeant it into fs 25. Theres your testing done really.

The integration between autodrive & courseplay isn't something that is easily replaced by this.

DJ got a press kit he showed on a video yesterday that had the ps5 and xbox versions of the game in it so do you have one Mr Sealy P? If not why as you could be playing on ps5 now.

While i am NOT excited for this next Gen only version of the game these 2 features are what will likely draw me into the game IF and when i can support next gen at this point will likely be a Xbox Series S as the last new console the 1 (minor) negative point to this game so far is I don’t like the color scheme (green) they already did the best color how much you wanna bet they messed with the menu system again lol who knows . So much of what I have seen of FS25 so far has been incredibly underwhelming. This to me so far is the one bright spot of FS25 in my opinion. So I really hope they nailed it because it will potentially make or break the game for me. As a console player I am very disappointed that we are not getting 4x maps or a map creator mode. But I can accept it if this new gps and AI worker system delivers.

Finally fixing the AI will be SO game changing on console. Question is, this customize was all shown for PC, is the custom coming to consoles? PS: being 07-Nov, are you getting a Pro today? Mine arrives in a couple hours.

I would guess it runs a similar code to courseplay. It’s not that scrips don’t work on console its that Sony won’t allow it.
