This is like a feeling of a far away place, comfort, safety, longing and familiarity all in one song

I would love to see a video of your translation compared to the popular Elvish Linguistic Fellowship translation. A side-by-side comparison would be fascinating! Sindarin is so tricky, but you have a beautiful rendition. I don't find many elvish iterations of this song that are so lovely and lovingly recorded.

Suilad mellon nin! I study Sindarin at this site. I posted on their forum about this song. Xanderien, the owner and teacher there, said she knew of it. She said that though it is indeed beautiful that it was done in 2003 and since then large strides have been made in developing this language and correcting things, that so many changes have been made that a lot of the words and phrases in this song are obsolete and incorrect now. She said there are so many opinions out there in all things Sindarin that there many sites and ways to learn it and each have differences. So I suppose each to his own choice as to where to study Sindarin. I think I am going to stay there and continuing study there. I just wish I had a better memory. Can you be hypnotized to be made or able to remember something you read or studied? LOL
