One thing I learned from you. It doesn't take 4 great shots to make par. You can have a bland drive, a so so approach, great chip, tap in par. Short game is everything. A great chip or a great putt can save par easily. Never give up!

Love watching you drain within 6ft putts with confidence Matt. So satisfying. Who needs asmr videos when you can watch that.

Played Cyprus 4 times River about 12 times. Would choose River over Cyprus every time. IMO top 5 golf course in US. Better than Whistling Straits by a mile. Go to Kohler June 15th to Aug 15th for best chance at good weather. FYI very expensive but totally worth it.

Consider doing a Wisconsin loop if you ever return. After Kohler head to The Golf Courses of Lawsonia and play the links course. After that go to Sand Valley playing all three courses. Then finish the loop with Erin Hills.

Most beautiful and difficult course in Wisconsin. Less hype than Erin Hills or The Straights, but it’s the best in my book.

I drove the green on #9 and almost holed it. Maybe the best drive of my life. Was going to play it safe and go left but the caddie talked me into going for it. Glad he did! Ended up with an Eagle. Was playing the whites with some wind so was able to draw it perfectly over the water.

Was there a sign at the first hole saying “Only highly skilled golfers should play this course “. I used to see the sign on the first hole of the Black Course at Bethpage Long Island, NY. I played the Black Course about fifteen times in the early 1990’s . People would always talk about the great courses around the world they played, when on the Black Course. I felt that it could be a US Open Course but people would be falling on the hills to the tee box and the steep hills to the greens. I don’t think we will ever see a 700 yard par five. What do you think?

except for the double- all scores were "good" scores given the distance, wind and length/difficulty of the course. anything in the 70's is a good score. I would have shot about 179!

@@OntheFringeGolf I understand, not complaining, but it's much more interesting that way. Truly it is worth the extra work! Sorry, don't mean to sound like I don't enjoy your vids.

@@OntheFringeGolf Here's an idea, instead of following each other around filming each shot. You each film your own shots including commentary and share / merge your videos. I know the editing would take longer, but it would be better than following each other around the course individually. Leave your comments in accordingly, but add some voice over during the edits. I think that would save a lot of time on the course, but still give US the full experience. We love your videos from both accounts and enjoy all of your comments / analysis.
@OntheFringeGolf4 жыл бұрын
@@DnnyMller yep thats what we do on our channel! We use 2 cameras and merge later. Its definitely a lot easier to edit in the back end. We're playing around with voice overs but you're right it provides yall with a better video
