What I really liked about this show was that even though Daniel was the boss they were both equally noob-ish at their jobs. They worked out everything together, leaned on each other, helped each other out of holes, celebrated each other’s success, etc. It was so delightful to watch.

Well actually we don’t really know if he truly was going to be her assistant. As in the final scene of season 4 she was joking around. Tho I do hope he did call her after to have dinner in London. 🥹

Daniel is one of the few non-Narcissistic characters in this show besides Betty herself. Naturally, he is also one of the few reasons besides Betty (and the occasional hilarious one liner from Wilhelmina) that I actually watched this show every now and again even though I hate the fact that most of it revolves around Betty being abused and taken advantage of by pretty Narcissists.

Also, the TV-show is called UGLY Betty if you were expecting something else other than looks and narcissism your are watching the wrong tv-show amigo.

Surma Wolfsoul Your comments is from 4years ago but whatever..Tbh Betty going through all the hardship and facing "narcissistic" ppl is kind of what makes the show great. I mean she starts of as a 24year old naïve girl and goes through the struggles of life, but even till the end she stays true to herself and doesn't change(on the inside). I honestly hated the ending(I shipped her with Daniel), but it was very mature if you get what I mean. I personally find the show very motivating. I mean look where she started and where she got *herself* at the end. She became a real adult. Earned everyone's respect and became a strong independent woman :)

This was foreshadowing when Betty moved to London, Daniel gave Meade to Wilhelmina & Betty said to Daniel, if you need a job, I need an assistant. How the tables have turned. *"I know you're going to places, plz try not to get there fast."*
