I have gone through and read comments on this video and would offer to those who had comments about Glenn and Yvette to go and watch their podcasts. These guys actually have great energy and tackle some very difficult topics in real time. I'd also offer you guys to consider that Kev's energy is also different with this couple than the previous couples because in this instance Kev and Melissa are where this couple has to go. They are the mentor couple. In this space they are teaching versus learning from more experienced couples.

I haven't finished listening yet but I appreciate this conversation. So often I hear couples talking in interviews sounding like and Olympic volleyball team, one person sets it up, then the next spikes, and they score every round. This sounds like a conversation between 4 different people, in 2 couples, having misunderstandings, making mistakes, but giving each other enough grace to forgive them (maybe reluctantly lol), appreciating the good in each other, and moving forward together.

Not gonna lie, I love both couples... this felt like Beleaf and Yvette need to talk out these thoughts with a therapist more. Gives me enneagram 9(Yvette) to an 8(Beleaf) And those relationships can be hard. One walking on egg shells (indirect, careful conversation) the other stomping through them (direct, defensive, focused on how they want things specific). Beleaf buffering Yvettes thoughts or her consistently apologizing for possibly saying something wrong can lead someone to spazz out.

Their content clearly shows they are the way they are and that's perfectly fine. Two different personalities learning about life and marriage while raising 4 whole kids. Glenn is more expressive and outward thinking. Yvette processes everything internally. They could've argued or something happened with the kids before the interview but that's life and like the title of the Fredericks' book, marriage be hard! I'm glad they are actually talking about the hard stuff and having the conversations rather than not talking about them and allowing things to build under the rug.
