Unashamedly retro-80's Melodic Metal, it doesn't attempt anything original it just does what it does really well and it's a fine very listenable number. It's highly melodic anthemic and very enjoyable. It's a must-download. My Score: Very Good 4* I'm never here for the video, but I'm amused that someone obviously decided that since we've got Michael Starr on vocals, they would make a video that is total Steel Panther.

Listened to the entire album now. Might be the best record this band has ever put out. It's absolutely amazing. The songs that stick out to me the most are Powerline, Darker Minds and Resurrection Of The Damned. Dude sounds even better than Sebastian Bach did back in 1989-1991 on Resurrection Of The Damned. Amazing vocals from Gabriel. Darker Minds is one of the best songs I have ever heard from this band. The melodies in that song are among the best I have ever heard in my entire life. Magical album.

They toured Sunset a decade ago when they released generation wild. I don’t think they’ve been back since. You should listen to Reckless Love, Jailbait, Crazy Lixx, Sister, Sister Sin, Panzer Princess, Loud N Nasty, Danger, Foxey, Peepshow/States of a Panic and Red light attraction to name a few. All out of the same scene as Crashdiet.

@@richardsmith7322 They're still great but they're not from California. They're from sweden and have toured all over and worked with some of the biggest names already. That was before they ever made it to Sunset. They worked on the Unattractive Revolution with Mick Mars which was there 2nd album. They opened for Motley, Ozzy and more in Europe. Generation Wild was there third album and that's when they made it to the states for the first time including Sunset. Dave lepard committed Suicide when they were suppose to tour Japan in 2006. The States were pretty much the last stop for them cause metal isn't big in the US anymore, its all about lame rappers, shitty pop singers who shake there ass, lame country band and shitty boy bands! Lets not forget the assholes who come of those horrible game shows singing everyone else's songs.
