Ren can slap you with intensity at will. He is amazing. Here we go... "hard to have faith when the gods don't listen..." My first whoa. "Every question answered with a question on the end. " Wow. "What's the benefit of disability..." Holy shit... THAT is profound! Then, "elastic bands only stretch so far, then SNAP..." He is a genius. The ending brought me very close to tears. Great reaction. I was told I had depression after my 2nd of 5 failed spine surgeries. I was put on Prozac. 3 surgeries later, I found out that I was not depressed, but I had a viral infection that hit my cervical spine and left an 8 cm lesion. My arms and torso were numb from that, not, as I was told, hyper ventilation. For 4 years, I believed I needed the Prozac. They were hell getting off of them as well. I still live with so much pain, but I know now that the pain is real and not just my brain saying so. At age 66, this is little consolation for the years I lost with my now grown children and now passed away husband. Like Ren says..."The struggle is real." ❤ Thank you for sharing ❤

Yes, you know all too well! Doctors would rather just throw pills at you than take the time to get to the root cause. I've had many bad experiences with doctors who don't listen. I'm sorry you've had to struggle with this, and for your loss ❤️

@loveloochay My husband is also a choco-holic, but he loves carrot cake as well. I don't know if you have a "Nothing Bundt Cakes" where you live, but that's our go to for birthdays. My husband and I don't actually eat that way normally tho. After eating a bunch of sugar yesterday, we both feel awful. Except for the sourdough that I make, I don't eat grains or sugar and my husband is totally keto. I used to be able to eat whatever I wanted, but now I get bloated with joint pain if I eat sugar or processed food. 😭 He's 54 and we both have had to change the way we eat as we've gotten older. It's now more about nutrition than enjoyment. 🙄 But if it keeps us healthy and living longer, then it's worth it.

Ren said on Knox Hill's most recent interview thst he finishes up in Canada in July, then he's flying back to the UK for a month to play some shows, hang out with friends and family, then he's moving to AMERICA! He's going to stay on northeast. So he's not sure if he's going to live on Connecticut, New Jersey or New York. He has a better opportunity with his music and he'll only be 2 hours away from his doctors in Canada if he needs them. I'm trying to convince him to move to where I live, on Long Island. We got everything, the beaches, the food and only 45 minutes to New York City!
