That's exactly right. I started watching Y&R in 2020 when they moved Sally there and I already see lots of differences with B&B. There's a lot more action and more character's are one with different storylines. And the funny thing about this is that Genoa city is way smaller then LA and much more stuff happens there.

I don’t like direction the writers went after 2002 where they made Brooke the new Stephanie . But I get why the storyline is the it is. Steffy had no stability in her formative years with an emotionally absent dad and mom from no fault of hers and Taylor also had absent parents coz her mom died in her teens and her dad was addicted to gambling. They are both casualties of generational trauma to be precise complex PTSD and are codependent on each other which may explain why Taylor became a psychiatrist. The same can be said of Brooke and her sisters coz their father abandoned them leaving their mother in debt and his kids lived in poverty and explain why the Logan family have a cutthroat ambition and are extremely competitive wanting to win at all cost. This does not mean I personally condone their amorous natures.
