Glad your posting again. I laid my BMX bike down after 19 years and was depressed for 2 years until I stumbled upon a video of yours a year and half ago. Now it's my life!!!! Thank You!

I find it odd that your story is the exact same as mine. I used to ride a custom PremiumBikes Deathtrap. Then I clicked some Steele video because it wouldnt get out of my recommended. Thank you KZbin and Steele!

UFDA Crew it is such a fun hobby. I’ve been addicted to it since buying a cheap camera drone that I would fly around trees and stuff like I was racing. I didn’t even know about racing/freestyle fpv drones until I found some of his videos and others and I thought that’s what I want. Cheers.

I am new to the hobby, 1 year in, built 5 quads, (4) Martian 2’s with betaflight, now Butterflight, and after watching your KZbin videos, thought I would spend the money and build an alien with all your older set kiss hardware, 24amp esc’s, kiss v1 flight control, Steele pdb, hs177, and used your previously posted pods, and idle up settings, and it flys literally 2 to 3 times better then any of the martians! I cannot believe the difference! I felt instantly more comfortable piloting it, able to control the quad way more accurately, I’m a little nervous to get too adventurous with some new moves only because I don’t want to damage this quad in a rookie crash. Thank you sooo much for all the alien videos!!!

What I like about your gear is that you aren't going for the 'latest' gear at all. You run what appeals to you and eff the noise. Solid advice.

Thanks for taking the time to make a video that may seem lame/dull to a pro like you lol it's a huge help for noobs like me to get field ready for the mountains. This video gave me the idea to use a tactical style hiking pack. Literally thousands of styles online and the mollie loop/straps are always useful

Appreciate the topic. Its good to know about the redundancy. Expect a mistake or a problem and already have it covered. The field fix and the soldering iron is some serious good stuff to share. Subd a s well. I ve been flying a tiny fpv whoop indoors for last month. Have two quick drones real stuff to take out flying soon once I get Betafligh , pids and Taranis x9d figured out. Cant wait to go acro.

I’m just getting into building drones. Watched a lot of videos and have read several things online as well. Hope your custom Taranis is back in stock soon. If not, I’ll buy a stock taranis and mod it myself. That will be my first purchase as I dive into all this stuff. I’ll be downloading some simulators to start the journey. Thanks for all your knowledge, as it is priceless. Truly awesome. Hopefully I’ll be able to enter some competitions in a year or two. Have a good week and cheers! 🍻

(looks like you had one ready.) And come to Ms :)

@GabrielLarke7 жыл бұрын
Hey Steele! I just found out that you need to trim 7.5mm from Crossfire micro antennas with the black heat shrink to tune properly for 915MHz. I think that's likely been the cause of some reception issues. If you have white heat shrink no mod needed :)

The downside of the BC-8S is that it doesn’t give percentage readings. I’m used to percentage so I stick with the Cellmeter-7. It gives instant cellreadings ;-)
