He uses a crosshair very likely and pistol is almost 100% accurate while hip firing at closer ranges

I run flintlock/sword all the time and it's just a question of habit, I'm no PvP god but I'm decent enough and you don't need a crosshair or ADSing to know where you're firing, especially at close to close-mid range, in fact I find hip firing easier than ADSing (with the Flintlock obviously) especially when people move a lot, jump around etc, when you master hip firing with a flintlock you become as or even more dangerous than double gunners because the reload time is crazy short. Target practice on the bell attached to your mast while moving around your boat, it's great warm-up honestly

When sail gets chopped. It resets the angle. The time it takes to angle after repairing/lowering it is not worth the time investment. A crew as good as those guys will likely re-chop the sails anyways. Making it a complete waste of time.

I’m rank 32 in HG so far, it’s a meat grinder so just expect nothing out of it expect practice when you’re first starting out. Take it off the scary pedestal and make it a learning opportunity. Gotta suck before you f***.

I can’t hit cannons for the life of me 😢 at least my gun combat is decent but it’s not saving me from hardly any duo plus crews

A small tip for cannons, use the basic ones. they got rings you can line up w/. I suggest going on a sloop and circle an island firing your cannon at various targets you pick out. Watching videos of sweaty 0.1% PVP will also help you visualize where you need to shoot depending on boat dynamics. That’s helped me a ton but I still sometimes send a bad ball at a weird angle.
