This song is like parts of your life.. 00:00 - 01:35 -> Is like carefree childhood. 01:36 - 02:35 -> pubescent searching of yourself 02:36 - 03:35 -> Your life is changing, u are growing up. 03:36 - 04:15 -> Finally, You are home. 04:16 - 04:55 -> But then........ memories on your childhood. 04:56 - 05:31 -> Then you realize that you had a beautiful life You should just do everything for "it was beautiful life". Think about, in which part of life are you. And what you can do better.

I played this song for my fiancé today, and we pretty much agreed that this is the song I'm walking down the aisle to. He loves the sound and feel of it. I don't see it as a sad song, I see happiness in the song after a lot of struggle and loneliness. Home for us is in each other's arms. Us getting married is just us going home to each other for the rest of our lives and this song is perfect for that.

Ongoing the second year with depression and occasional suicidal moments, dealing with toxic people in the house and not having *the* person to talk to about anything.. getting to move out to be in my own peace and finally getting to rebuild myself as a new person is giving me hope for a better tomorrow so to speak. This song is like how I would describe the feeling.

It all started from very young age didn’t have any friends in school all the way to college got bullied a lot because I have short term memory lose so it was very hard for me to be able to do a lot if stuff with the normal kids didn’t feel like I fitted in got into high school and just started feeling very depressed made a friend in my last year of school but turned out in him and 5 others to jump me on a bus too school I never went to school that day and I didn’t go home I was missing for a couple of days just trying to cope in my own terms home didn’t really feel like home can’t say that my family did anything wrong in bringing me up but parents have different ways and I’d say it wasn’t the very best but I got what I was given but just didn’t feel like I had enough support, it got too college and I thought going to a college without anyone that I know that was going there that I had a chance to change things but it turned out the same way because I struggled with words and saying things and connecting with people it all went against me, I’ve done some very stupid things I prefer not to say 😢, what changed in my life i went on the princes trust course which was like making friends and doing crazy activity’s together building bonds and helping it other I ment a girl and she is now my fiancé it’s been 8years and I’m so so happy I’m here to say what has happened in the past 16 years of my life my life now is amazing still having abit of financial difficulty but I couldn’t ask for much more I’m very chuffed in myself ❤ @minimalistmgtow9038

Your past is everything you are, yet everything you can never be. Your present is everything you have, yet everything you can never own. I love nostalgia but I hate it at the same time. I love it because it reminds you of all the good times you had and how much you enjoyed them but I hate it because it reminds you that you can never get it back. No matter how hard you try, it won't quite be the same as it was.
@SungazerDNB10 жыл бұрын
Nostalgia is fear of forgetting who you once were. But don't be sad, because those feelings will be with you forever. To make you remember, to make sure you can still be thankful and fondly look back with gratitude for that which once was. And perhaps even to show you the path to feeling the same way once again. :)

And as she looked over at the sunset, the warm, golden glow melting over her head and the grass softly swaying in the wind, she felt melancholy for a past she had never had. She turned herself towards the sunlight and straightened her back, the beauty of the sight filling up her heart as a single tear left her eye and silently dropped on the soft grass. She embraced the moment and the moment embraced her. A moment of perfection, a moment of realization. She now knew what she had missed all that time. A home.

first time i listened to this song, i closed my eyes sat back in my chair and curled up and felt like i was going on an adventure. I was walking down a road in the middle of nowhere, no people, no cars, nothing just me walking. It was a sunny day, i felt so energetic and so relaxed, it felt almost real. the sun shining down on my face, the warm pavement on my feet, the birds chirping and the smell of fresh air, then i started running. i felt like i needed to just run, i have no idea why. I was running really really fast and i couldn't stop. Then all of a sudden im flying. i take off up into the air zooming through the clouds and past a flock of birds. then i started to slowly free fall and eventually i was in a forest. I heard water so i moved through the grass, the grass was 2x taller them me and i slowly walked out of the grass to see a beautiful water fall. There was a bunch of animals and flowers and butterfly's it was truly amazing, i then climbed to the top of the water fall and jumped into the lake and went for a swim, i went through a cave and everything was so bright and colorful. there was a bunch of fish that i have never seen before, i cannot even describe how colorful and majestic it was, it felt breath taking. i then emerged from the water and was laying down on my back looking up at the sky. It was a dark night, no stars were in sight, but the moon. It was a full moon, it was orange and it make the sky look absolutely amazinglyawesome, you could hear all the crickets and the cool breeze blowing the grass, it was so quiet you could hear anything from a mile away. the moon then got closer and bigger to the point that if i reached out i could touch it, so i did then i woke up in my bed and realized i was home hope you all enjoyed my adventure and sorry about spelling/grammar hope its readable

I had like the same thing, just closed my eyes and let the music take me away. I ended up with my crush in the US while climbing a huge mountain. Birds were singing & the wind through the tree's it was perfect. we stayed the night at a cave with a small bonfire and when the sun came up we went for the top of the mountain. after we reached the top we like jumped off the top with those wingsuits. It was litteraly breath taking. After I saw the whole forest from the skies I realized that the song was over & I was sleeping for like 30minutes. Haha! What music can do to people. I LOVE IT

Damnit, I shouldn't have listened to this song again. I just recently moved to Houston, Texas from Southern CA after I volunteered to come here for my company. I sacrificed my family and the few friends I had for this opportunity and I've only been here for about 2 months but this song is starting to make me feel home sick. I mostly think about my parents and especially my dad because father's day just passed on on FB, a friend put up this pic that shows how your typical relationship goes with your dad through the various stages in life. You know, @ 10 you always wanna be with your dad then @ 16 you can't stand him, then @ 25 saying 'you were right' then @ 30 saying you want to go to your dad's house. I'm at 30 right now and I miss him and my mom. This song made me wonder am I going to be missing-out on the last decade or so of their lives where they will still be able to go out and do stuff with me while I am all alone here in Houston.

Theres just something so special about certain places. Once I got up very early in the morning when staying with my grandma who lives in the forest, and snuck out before dawn. I remember looking up at the sky full of brilliant stars as I made my way to the forest. I soon came to a meadow area full of sleeping flowers and it was just so beautiful. I thought of it on my own, but that doesn't mean that it didn't subconsciously come from another source. @Kaptain Kid Are you serious? So a chord progression is not a song right? Most pop songs are just the same four chords played over and over, with simple rythyms such as the ones in this track. I don't think there are such a great diference, just because one of them has lyrics and the other hasn't I wouldn't consider them as music and not music respectively. Of course everyone can have a opinion, but I really can't understand yours.

I bent down and touched the soft grass, gently brushing against my knees. I squinted my eyes at the sun setting. Wild colors surrounded me. The warm breeze tugged a smile out of me, and I closed my eyes in bliss. But when they opened again, my smile vanished. My eyes no longer held a twinkle and my head felt dull and lifeless. The only warmth was in my bitter coffee. I adjusted my itchy sweater and gazed out my foggy window. Trash scattered the cement floor, and dusty cars were covered in layers of bird feces. My frowned deepened, so back to my painting, my painting of paradise. I was going to find it one day.

Music like this has saved my life. Also...trance music is like a sanctuary. Take refuge in it. No doubt that you are not alone---there are millions like you---like us. Meditate. Take the music and go outside. Let the clouds, the Sun, the rain, the snow...wash over you (just don't freeze to death-LOL). We all go through slumps. Seek to rekindle connections to family and friends. And always listen to this and trance music...Try Armin and/or Above & Beyond. So much good stuff. We are all so blessed to have this music and sadly, many of us don't even know it.

To me, this song speaks about reminisce, of better times and a longing to go back to where we came from, to those beautiful places we call home. The chords of sadness and of hope, with the faint undertone of rising, the girl in the picture is silently crying yet moving forwards, always looking behind to that distant past.

We're not going back home where our family, friends, and loved ones are. We are going back to where it started? "Where what started?" The beginning where our minds, dreams, hopes, and goals lie. Everything that defines who we are started at the beginning when we were brought into this world. People go through life worrying about failure or wondering where they should go. Just take action. We all want to predict where our future is heading and what our purpose is. Truth is that we make our own purpose in life when we find out what we love and enjoy. Fear doesn't inhibit our internal growth, it shows us where we should be headed. Going home just simply means I am going back to being myself.

Sry for my bad englisch. I hear this song since many many years. When I remember correctly it was 2012/2013 when I discovered this track and it had far under 1 million views. And even now after all this years this track gives me a feeling I cant even describe. It gives me a strange sad feeling of nostalgia or the past I experienced and a feeling of happiness and hope about the future at the same time. All this time this track was by my side and gave me comfort. Even the image of this video is burned in my mind. Thank you Tom Day and MrSuicideSheep. I think I will come back to this song and video again and again as long as I live.

***** If I were you I would try the making music. Making music is a fantastic way of expressing yourself and putting those thoughts into feelings, while at the same time teaching yourself a skill that will take your mind off of her. Other than that, keep working out, make sure you eat healthy and just try and keep yourself busy. Maybe look up some online tutorials and try making some music, who knows maybe you might make songs as amazing as this with a little bit of practice (especially with all those feelings/emotions to draw on)

-Imagine, Youre sitting in a Garden just like Eden . It's beautiful! Breathtaking! And any other adjective you can find to explain its nature! Suddenly, you see your crush walking towards you, the same girl you care for without her even knowing, the same girl you could litterally do anything for all while she doesn't even know you love her, imagine. She walks towards you, grabs your hand, it's evening at around 6 PM, clear skies, a lil cloudy but you can see the sky, you're both in that garden. That beautiful garden full of life and trees and plants and greenery and all you need. She grabs your hand and takes you with her on a long walk. No talking. You are looking at her as to where she is taking you and what's happening. Suddenly she turns around, looks in your eyes, smiles a bit and says "I know you've loved me forever, and I love you too" and kisses you ❤️😍 This song gives me that feeling. I hope yall understand and find the love of your life.

But then I listen to this music and particularly to this song. And I make a smile and feel better for a while... Untill the song stops and reality comes back and I feel like stuck in a black hole again. "The past likes the sand of the timeline, which comes and goes in front of our eyes. The future is the unknown, which can't be predicted by the human mind precisely. But, the present is a moment in the time you are reading this. It's precious because you can't able to take back when it finished. So, when the sunset comes, going home is the best option. Whatever you suffer any kinds of blockable things in life, the sunlight always leads the way to the home. Take a minute and enjoy the moment. You will realize how valuable the present is. *The gift from the heaven* ."

Thankful! And today I am grateful, I am grateful for the worldly experience I have had so far, I am grateful for everything I have lived. I am grateful for the people I met. I am even more grateful for the songs I heard and for the people who also went through them. For all the magic and the support that people offer each other, I am happy to have witnessed all of this through music. Magic people are out there and I would love to meet them. I would love to know about their lives, their worldviews and everything that makes them who they are. I wanted to meet with a group of people and spend an entire night looking at the stars and talking about life, sharing laughter, sadness and philosophies. I am grateful for the high sensitivity that gives me the possibility to know and connect deeply with the feelings of others. Not everything is flowers and I have been living hard times ... But just the fact of having a few moments listening to good music and reading the various comments from people around the world sharing moments of their lives already brings me the feeling of completeness and gratitude . Thanks Guys. I love this Channel because you! You make this community magical!❤️

With everyone talking about their homes, and families, I just thought I could share as well. I haven't felt at home in a year now. Almost on the day too. I still live at home, but I could just as well live elsewhere. Wouldn't matter to me. Not when your real home or the closest thing you've ever felt to 'home' is nearly 4000 miles away. People, don't let the once-in-lifetime chances slip you by. Be brave, and believe in what yourself and that what you're doing is the right thing. Cheers.

My boyfriend left me a week ago today, just didn't say anything. I was hurt, upset and confused. It turns out through one of my best friends, he wanted me to be happy and felt as if he wasn't doing it for me, making him unhappy. As a result, I'm heading home earlier than expected. I'm still sad about it, but this song has given me hope and reassurance that everything will be fine. I'm now awaiting to start my second year at Uni, ready to go and grab life and rediscover who I am. All I'm going to say to him when I next see him is 'thank you for freeing me and I hope you too, move on and find yourself again'.

I'm 20 year old, and I've been doing bad things... on purpose?, yes and no.... but I have this friend of mine, who is somewhat dear to me, even thou I don't even talk to her, and now she's pregnant, and father no where to found.... So every time I listen to this song, it gives me feeling to do something right, even just once in my life.... I want to help her, protect her, and her soon to be child, even thou we aren't really that close... I'm not in love with this girl, but something in my hearth tells me to do this, and it feels kinda cool, to care about someone else other than myself.... I wanna change!

When am I going to rise, I ask myself as the days of emptiness drag me down as my song is silenced by the others and these wings stay tethered to the ground When am I going to just let go and release myself from a caged reality leaving this grey prison far down below while soaring up unconcerned with gravity When am I going to destroy these chains and leave them to rust as I drift above where I rid myself of all earthly pains and taste the air of freedom and love Sometimes I think: today is the day the sun will watch the caged one fly the fearful others won’t know what to say as wide wings dance upon heavenly sky But as always I feel the pull of the ground the weight of this world still holding me down leaving me looking up toward those skies asking myself when, oh when: am I going to rise?
