How Does MRT 3 starts ok . So The MRT 3 started it's construction in October 15,1996 ( based on Wikipedia) so the MRT 3 Trains or coaches are from Czechia ( Czech ) the MRT 3 has 73 Coaches or bagon during it's opening in 1999 the construction of the MRT 3 was started during the Fidel V . Ramos Administration and in 1998 the first MRT 3 Train arrived in Manila and they started having test runs in 1998 to 1999 . In October 1999 all of the MRT 3 Coaches arrive in Manila and the depot at North Ave has been already built and the 10 stations are already built as well . So In October 1999 President Joseph Ejercito Estrada and the Dotc ( now Dotr and the Mrt 3 management have a test run and they inspect the stations and the whole line . So in December 15th ,1999 The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 was opened to the public from North Ave to Buendia Station that time. During it's first year 2000 the Passenger capacity or riding the MRT 3 are low expectations it's because the commuters are still using Bus , taxi , Jeepneys and etc along Edsa . In July 20,2000 the three stations are opened which are the Taft Ave, Magallanes , and Ayala stations and opened once again by the 13th President of the Philippines Joseph Ejercito Estrada. So the MRT 3 right now is improving and all of its trains were overhauled during the last rehebilitation . So as of right now MRT 3 Trains are overhauled are now 70 trains are overhauled. But we are not yet finished yet . After the opening of the MRT 3 in 1999 there is a planned that MRT 3 will extend up to Monumento to connect LRT 1 but it was shelved by our Former President of the Philippines Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
