*Can anyone tell me how the red lights that light the sword are awarded? I cannot find any documentation on that via the instructions or anywhere else.*

Knock down drop targets, or if the ball rolls down the outer or inner lanes. If the ball has been caught by magna save, it will award 5 red lights rather than a regular two. If you complete a set of targets it awards two. The blue lights are multiplers and are awarded through the small roundabout on the left side of the playfield. Every 10 red lights it will go back down to 1 and light 10/20/30/40. Hope this helps!

@@NewStarMan *I knew about the "horseshoe" multiplier and just in the past few days figured out the drop target awards. I didn't know about the inner and outer lanes nor did I know about the extra awards for using the Magnasave. Thanks so much!*

You should be holding the right hand flipper when you send the ball up into the machine. You can then get the ball over to the left upper flipper to make the skill shot. For the most part, this machine is a one trick pony. It's all based on locking the upper balls. The upper playfield is the playfield. Loop the balls off of the upper left flipper back into the skillshot hole. The lower part of the playfield is a dead zone. The ball drains quickly there. Do everything you can to get the ball back into the upper playfield. I tried like hell to break the high score on the Black Knight. It was set so high when they configured the machine that no one broke it--that's what I hated the most about this machine.

not a fan of this game- flipper small, ramps to lower level seems like too easy to drop down which is a frustration. to keep the ball on top level. to hit targets. could have been corrected if it was a gate the prevented the movement down an out.

you might like bally 'big guns' which has an easier upper playfield.
