Notes: It turns out that I was playing a themed version of WarioWare this whole time.

I've learned how input handling works. So, that's fair game!

He's made tons of cool simfiles and SRTs!
Getting the minigames working was the easiest thing to do.
Gameplay changes:
Both players can separately fail the doit section.
Visual changes:
Hid the steps display as it blocked the view.
Made "Don't lose your way!"'s BG use the whole width.
Slid playfields into fixed positions
Internal changes:
Dealt with the fact that GetDifficulty() returns an ENUM (string) instead of a number. Fixed by both replacing certain lines and making a function that returns a number corresponding to a given ENUM.
Replaced ApplyGameCommand with mod reader functions.
Replaced DivinEntity input handler with native SM5 input handler. (No custom noteskins needed!)
Removed noteskin checking.
Used sleep on judgment+combo to keep in place.
Commands can't start with actual numbers, so I did some renaming.
Unconverted some x positions.
Turned DisqualifyPlayer1/2 message commands into one that shows that the player in question failed.
Replaced score getting functions with one that works in SM5.
Did function renaming due to case sensitivity and some not being caught by the LUA to XML converter.
A bunch of sprites had a type of "LAER", which isn't an actual thing in SM5. Fun times.
Made an actor's child nameless.

The name Mawaru actually comes from the Japanese name for WarioWare Twisted: Mawaru: Made in Wario. (Turning: Made in Wario) The reference in the title for this particular Mawaru is Unbreakable Machine Doll's ED, the main song that plays at the beginning, end, and higher speeds of this file: Maware Setsugetsuka.

Mawaru 5 doesn't have any notes in it! Watched a friend play it on his laptop a bit ago and think it's just me. Any thoughts?

Hm...Describe what exactly you mean by not having any notes in it. Are there any errors in your logs (even if it doesn't crash, check your logs for any errors/warnings related to the file)

The song literally has nothing playing, gameplay wise. No notes in it. Music works and bpm changes fine. "Song file "/Songs/Mawaru Collection/mawaru5/FINALE.sm" couldn't be opened: No such file or directory" It seems I'm missing something... and the only FINAL files in the mawaru folder have "old" and "unused" attached onto the filetype.

So, it's looking for FINALE.sm... I have an idea: try renaming mawaru5.sm to FINALE.sm I recall someone else having to do something like that.

Drag the "Mawaru Collection" folder from the archive into the Songs folder. For example: *sm5 install location*\Songs\Mawaru Collection\mawaru8 "Mawaru Collection" is the catagory that mawaru8 (might appear as "MAWARU! SETSUGETSUKA!") will appear under in this setup.

So, the archive contains two main folders: Songs and Courses. In the Songs folder, there should be a folder called "Mawaru Collection". This folder goes into your Stepmania 5's Songs folder. The same ideas apply to the Courses folder in the archive as well. Also, the Readme in the archive details some extra things, like fonts and other possible issues. Good luck!
