Hi, Very helpful video! Do you know more about error code P1497 on Pajero 4 3.2 2008? I am blocked in SA as they cannot fix it here. I would be happy to have a confcall about it?

I want to ask you if you know why an egr is not moving but it returns to close position if you move it by hand when turn ignition off. The egr is new and i tested with a adjustable power supply that the egr motor is moving when applying voltage and egr position sensor ir ok if i move the valve by hand. But it thows egr p2413 error every time its powered on. And if i command to move the egr to 50 or 100% with obd software it does nothing. Im not sure if this is an ECU problem or new EGR is bad.

Hey mate like the info in you'r videos, I was wondering if you could answer a question for me. I have a mq 2.4l triton, my dpf light came on and my machanic told me that it came on because my egr valve was fully closed and apparently the reason it was fully closed was because the ecu closed it because I had a boost leak or (a split in my intercooler pipe), hence why my dpf ended blocked and the light came on ?

@@neiljohntolentino6365 yes that was the problem so I got better hoses, stock ones split after 3 years

@@kainemill1790 which hose did you replaced? The one goin to throttle or to the turbo? So your egr dont have issue? Its just the hose why ecu is commanding close egr?

@@neiljohntolentino6365 yea thats it so I changed the intercooler hoses both sides after market ones plus a couple of other things so I don't have any other issues with egr and dpf in the future

I am in Canada but I have a v44 Pajero mr2 93 in Grenada West indies, and I am having a problem "lost of power" it is really bad when trying to climb hills, have you ever came across this?

Took my l200 to garage couldn't help light on dash and power loss your video showed where to look and found the small pipe off the sensor had come off head many thanks

hi there,i have a 3.2 triton ..done 200 k...manifold has been cleaned and update on ecm..anyway it has a miss between 1 and 2 thousand rpm ..and quite noisey as in a rattle/knock noise..map sensor line is clean and it runs like a rocket once you are over 2 thousand rpm...no codes..was thinking possible bad injector..?? and help would be much appreciated

HI mate, my triton 2010 MN series keeps coming up with a engine light and limp mode and when the ERROR code is checked it reporting on overboost. ive had it to the dealers multiple times and they changed the the boost sensor after the 5th time the light came on, but that hasn't fixed the problem. it initially only happened when pulling my caravan, but it recently even happened when i had no load on it. any ideas mate. as i said ive had it to the dealers multiple times and im desperate and would really appreciate a solution.

we have fixed many, but it wont be the sensor, sounds like ECU tune OR POSSIBLY soot contamination
