It's interesting you say that, because AC7/lighthouse war takes place in late 2019 and this takes place in 2020 (lore timeline) The realisations came to me after I replayed X after 7, and oh boy it changes the perspective of the entire campaign. Deep level lore

I always found this one Incredibly more challenging than end of deception II. I thought keeping alect squadron away from fenrir would make it easier for me lmao

Honestly, you're the first I hear saying that. EoD2 is generally considered much more difficult.

TugaAvenger huh interesting, even though alect squadron aren't flying Fenrir I always found their sporadic optical camouflage and having to maintain a certain speed to avoid that super weapon frustrating. Where as for me at least in end of deception 2 where you destroy that shield generator/transmitter on the island fenrir looses its advantage, I just use QAAMS to take them out or other highly manoeuvrable air to air missiles

As I have now played both variants, I would like to claim that EoD1 is harder because of Fenrir's permanent camouflage and stealth constantly ruining locks as well as the need to maintain a high speed due to the HPM. Another point is that in this variant, Fenrir's stealth cannot be disabled. On Ace, Alect are a pushover and die as soon as you unlock that transmitter and blow it up, unlike those filthy cheaters with stealth and cloaking and HPMs in EoD1. The tunnel flight is definitely harder than blowing up the joke that is the Shock Cannon, however.

I recommend that before facing the Fenrir, you do the mission of taking down the Alect squadron, because if you face the Fenrir piloted by the elite pilots of the Alect squadron, it is very difficult to take down a Fenrir, you can see the difference in the performance of the Fenrir in both missions, even without the Alect squadron pilots it is difficult to shoot it down.

Personally Ace Zero should of Played like this With the Near Perfect Balance of Ace04&05 Physics. I still am Bewildered by the Decisions the Devs have made with Flight models in these games and why they keep going Back and Forth with Super Arcade and Down to Earth Flight/movement Physics 🧐😩

this mission is freaking hard even on normal difficulty. those Fenrir just keep cloaking all the time. they only decloak for like 3 or 4 seconds then cloak again. not to mention when i'm tracking 1 Fenrir, another one will shoot me from behind. Especially when there are only 2 left. they will take turn to cloak and decloak again. Litterally took me almost half an hour just to kill 2 of them. Shit, i hate jamming radar and cloaking planes missions.

the dogfights were way to hard for me in vis mission , i had to fly away from them and use da special weapons to blow all the main targets at once as they only run and run. a really good scrub tatic heh

I don't think so. They are piloted by the Alect Squadron in 15B, and perform better there, so in 15A they're probably piloted by inferior pilots.

Well, it's not impossible. The RAVEN in AC7 can be both manned and unmanned.

Trying to beat this on Ace right now, and get the shortest route medal, and do it on an actual PSP system! The way you are maneuvering, I am guessing your are using an emulator and aren't restricted to using that little analogue nub!
