Sorry, but just like 18’ with Kristen, GiGi probably will return but won’t be picked because I can smell a 2-year. No shade but I wouldn’t mind any of Neia’s girls as capt. They all exemplify leadership and execution down. Preferably, Jkay or LeLe but I like the surprises, so Jayla would eat me down. I just love Jayla. Amani is THAT GIRL but we need some strong vets in the stands, Kayla should stay ACE, she GOT IT & that position is JUST as important

I definitely can see this happening. On paper, Gigi, being that she's going to be a senior next year and the only one left of '22 (unless others return), looks best qualified for the captain position. It would be similar situation to Cialah because she was the only one left of '19 after Amber left. However, Laneia raised a really, and I do mean really, strong crab class. There really isn't weak link and I can definitely see the potential of a 2-year captain. And you hit it right on the nail about Kayla, she is serving in that Ace spot.

@@geekjanet Although, Gigi seems to be the best candidate, we’ve been watching for years enough to know Sette captains are unpredictable and don’t really care what the paper says. No shade, but Crowley, is a master at what she does, and I too was a cheer captain and majorette coach, I can slip into minds as leaders and coordinators and I know for a FACT, she’s sees two years in one of those girls. We like to see people grow as leaders so I can see that for 23’. Only reason I didn’t mention Amber and Cialah’s years because they are from the same crab class, but similar to KG and Kristen, I can see LeLe or Jkay leading and Gigi being the strongest and oldest vet.
