It's a tough one for all parties.... Just as there are so many FAKE stories out there, reviewers may or may not be qualified or are truly objective. Manufacturers have the right to question one's methodology but pulling out the LAWYER card seems excessive.

The reason I left Music Recording business after dealing with too many injustices by Record ( Corporate) companies. Now it is trickling down to audio business after years. They screwed most Artists and Prince was one of the Artists that took the lead. Chaka & many others followed his lead. This US needs to make a change or we all will suffer and go down unfortunately. Best to ya Mickey and turn up the heat on the wicked people in audio.

Looks like GR RESEARCH is moving to a similar approach. In his last video he is requesting manufacturers to send equipment. He is not becoming a reviewer and if he doesn’t like it he won’t mention it. Like him or not that’s fair. I think you may be right about the internet seizing fb their power. If I recall correctly Randy was in Eric’s corner with his law suit threat. I get different things from different people trust is hard to earn and easy to lose. I learn a lot from those I disagree with. But I learn everything I need to immediately when someone tries to bullshit me.

I suppose a mitigation is that neither DCS or Tekton solicited reviews. Both products were provided for review by the owners I believe - so terms & conditions could not be agreed to and signed. Regardless, threats of legal action does more harm to the manufacturer than the reviewer once it comes out.

I have owned Tekton speakers and traded out of them within 3 months. Poor workmanship & cabinets. Dan has his head up his ass and will suffer business and his shit is not even average for a speaker maker. Sorry ass day for Audio going down this path. He better fire his Lawyer!

The Audio Mafia... Audio media/magazines in collusion with Manufacturers and certain mega brick and mortar dealers. It's a trifecta that has enabled the explosion of prices and resulting loss of value for the buyer. Elitism and greed at its worst. So we are creating our own space within the industry where we blow off and ignore "they", and create a strong "we".
