@tstemen1047 Yeah, we lost our home over on McGregor because of Ian. Bought a little condo on the second floor, so that won't happen again! I've been in Florida all my life, the last 20 in Fort Myers. I have to be honest the population influx has been stressful and has taken away what was a sleepy resort town feel. It is always busy and becoming more and more like a traditional city.

I live in SE Alabama and appreciate your reporting. I’m prepping so I’ll be prepared for whatever comes my way. I experienced my first hurricane when I was 11 years old in 1975. Hurricane Eloise was quite the experience. I remember my mom,who grew up experiencing hurricanes in North Carolina, telling us a hurricane was on the way. She said she could tell by the sky.
