Hola Brian. 🇨🇷 Thank you as you continue to be on a vacation with your family and helping all of us try to understand the unusual weather we’re all having. It’s been a crazy 24 hours of practically tropical rain down in the Southern area of CR, in most of CR for that matter. It started around 1pm yesterday with heavy tropical downpours that lasted for several hours. There was a brief break in the night, then thunder, lightning and rain until 12 noon today. Not a good month November has been to everyone, the road crews, rescue workers, flooded river crossings, and many, many accidents from North to South. Maybe one more week, we can only hope at the point now.

We've had a pretty big down pour of rain in Eleuthera, Bahamas today, which is in the Northern Bahamas, however it just stopped and the sun is out again. The weather has been absolutely beautiful and I can feel the cooler weather coming which I welcome. With that said, I continue to keep my brothers and sisters in those flood zones in prayer and may we all be safe throughout the Caribbean winter season. Thank you Brian and best wishes always.

Hope you all recover quickly. Hurricanes have forever been the seasonal reality in the Caribbean so one sorts of gets used to it. Maria hit hard in 2017. But that year I began preparing in January. You don’t have to believe this but I heard a voice inside my head urging me to start getting ready. I even had dreams and visions about a tidal wave. So by May 2017 I was ready to go through 3-4 months without power. Then …the big Duh… I thank God for merciful warnings. But wisdom is also a gift. If Hurricanes are now the rule rather than the exception from May-October just prepare early for the worse. I start my inventory early in the year so that I have little or nothing to buy in the summer. I’m not totally convinced a full PV is what I need right know, so I have a 5,000watts inverter generator and a small Photovoltaic system that powers fridge, TVs, ceiling fans and essentials.
