Thanks Ernie! If you want to enjoy the PNW, you have to get used to the cold and wet. :)

What a wonderful surprise was that snow. One of my dreams is to walk with the snow falling over me. Yes, maybe it's a sttupid dream, but it still being a dream. I Hope it will become true when I get back to Patagônia . You were blessed to be alone in this place , in such specific moment. And the marmot ... such a beautiful feeling it gave me when it waited the sound of your steps come closer and closer, looking at another direction, with his "hands" on that stone. I imagine how rare can be this scene. You guys deserve to be the lucky ones who lived these days up there. Thank you!

Thank you! Experiencing the snow for the first time is never a stupid dream. There is something to be said for experiencing such heavy precipitation, but it makes no sound.

I follow you since you were in Patagonia (Argentina), I love everything you do, here the national parks are quite far from the capital, the distances are very large, but I travel with you to those incredible parks, keep it up! Greetings from Bs. As. (Argentina)

I was there in October and we woke up to six inches of snow on the ground. Beautiful, but had to call it off and hike out.

Awesome. It's almost more impressive with the clouds and snow falling than it might be in full sunlight.

Definitely a whole new sensation. But not very conducive to summiting without the proper gear. :)

You guys do amazing videos and I have to give you my full compliments. All of the places you go in the Cascade Range are on my list and I am blown away that I get to see some trail reference and visuals of the area. The information you provide is very useful as well. Is there any chance that when you talk about the core Zone and various places that take special passes permits or lotteries can you drop a little info on what it takes to get those passes ? I find very little resources to that information. I have always been a free Wanderer but I understand I'm going to have to jump through these hoops to see the places I really want to. Beyond the Northwest forest pass and Discovery Pass of course.

Super beautiful. Did you need a lottery pass for mid September ?
