Palmar and Skill are the authors of What I Like, along with Jimmy Marinos, who was the original drummer of the group and was the one who belted out the original song while playing the drums. Although he was sorely missed after leaving the group in 1985, other drummers have had no problem filling in, such as Clem Burke, Johnny Bee or David Petratos. Current drummer Brad Elvis (a permanent member of the band and their longest running drummer) has his own unique style and a great sense of humor. Elvis is not only a terrific drummer but also a dynamic entertainer and is a terrific addition to The Romantics. Palmar and Skill have had no problem handling "the song" in concert. Rich Cole on Bass was one of the Original three members and am glad to see him back in the fold. These guys are still playing big shows and small event shows, like the one featured here, which was a tribute to Gretsch guitars (Mr. Gretsch was present)! And yes, everyone gets older, but these guys surprise me every time I see them, because they always seem to get better with age.

A well deserved thumbs up from Russell Ebnet You Tube. From Minneapolis . Minnesota. Good song to play at a hockey game during a stoppage of play on the ice. Ima hockey organist/dj. Karaoke. Sing live band as special guest. You guys rock. The timing was fantastic. If you ever come to Minneapolis. Minnesota to play. I will be there to come watch.
