Game 1 - Dallas Meetup - Chris, Brian, Robert & George - Axis & Allies Global 1940

Here's the game video from our first multi-player meetup at the Abandoned Monitoring Station in Dallas, Texas. Teams were chosen by random draw and ended up as Chris (USA, China, ANZAC) and Robert (UK & Russia) versus Brian (Germany & Italy) and George (Japan). The Axis employ the Calcutta Crush and Sea Lion strategies.
Really enjoyed the game and appreciated the strong endorsement of our house rules from the two guys using them for the first time!

Sorry that the dice affected the game so much more than they really should... Have you ever done a round using the Low Luck mechanic? It usually leans heavily to the Axis for the first 4 rounds, then the Allies begin to turn the tide.

It isn't clear on the video how strong the Sea Lion chance was but it seems it should have worked. One thing I would have done differently though, or at least I think I would have, is invading Scotland G2. You can't really lose doing that if you can defend the transport. Either the UK takes at least 1 ground unit out of London, or you have a couple more land units for your Sea Lion attack G3. Either way, it's always frustrating when bad dice defeat good strategy and it seems like that is what happened here.
