I know excel but I reach a point where excel is not giving me what I need and this form is exactly what I need to manage my worksheet, well instead of excel I will have this info in access now. How would I implement a search function but with multiple results? For example I searched for a firstname that belongs to multiple students, How would I display all of those names and just select one among them to update?

one question is that, whenever I save a record or delete a record in by table through form, my table is not updated until I go to table and click the refresh all tab. Plz help if anyone knows how to fix it.

i added a new ID 97 (AUTONUMBER)to my table and my search button will not return id 7 when enter 7 in the search box it returns 97 the new ID? but 17 27 27 47 57 67 77 87 are all fine. this has me really confused????

I tried to set multiple filters but it appears that it will pass through all the filters set from top to bottom and would not stop. Thus for example you searched for name but the last filter is set to product ID, you'll see the name flash but in the end would not display as it search the name on the product ID filter. Is there a way to make the filter stop once it found a match?
