Dhoni had to make do with a lot of deterioration in the team and he still managed to pull of incredible wins. Just for an example, in the semi final vs new Zealand, if it was dhoni who was the captain, he would have come at 4 when wickets fell so quickly and controlled the innings and won the game. Kohli simply had a better team to play with for his win % Hell, look at CSK. Even when not scoring runs, if you replace him for even Virat Kohli,, CSK will be no. 8 side in the league without him
