This is exactly what I was looking for. I needed to free up conventional memory in 86Box to run some games and loading the CD=ROM was hogging memory. But I didn't know how to selectively load it. Searched high and low until I found your video. Thanks so much for solving my problem.

There is a problem! You see, I have Windows for Workgroups 3.11 inatalled, but when adding "win" after ":win", when rebooted and chokses the first option (which is booting from MS-DOS), MS-DOS would literally just boot from Windows!

Wise one..... I acquired a 2003/4 P4 Shuttle PC, I'm going to Restore it from the ground up & Max Out. Being it 32-Bit... I would like it to Boot... MS-Dos 6.22 w/ Win3.x Win9x & Linux... Unsure which Distro but Debian-based definitely. Do I attack this with GRUB?

For multi boot systems start with the earliest version of Windows first and always install Linux last. The Linux boot manager you use doesn't matter, as long as it doesn't prevent you from getting back to the windows loader

Sounds Sarcastic lol) However, Let Me ask: What about Partitioning: I know Linux Needs to be Different. How should I Partition... Win 1,2,3x / Win 98./ Win XP..? I can keep Game Libraries separate, but what's the best Idea in your head? I have IDE & SAS on this thing, EARLY SATA. Small IDE For MS-Dos 5/Win 1/2 Partition Fat16, Ms-Dos 6.22/Win3.x/Win 98 Fat 32 (Or should these be separate? Then WinXP on SATA with LINUX... I'll Take My Answer Off the Air...

Please stop splitting a video into 3 minute parts. It would be much much better if you would just upload 1 long video combining all parts.

I appreciate the feedback and I agree. Ideally, I would be able to produce one long video that includes everything. There are a few issues with that. Its easer to produce a focused video on one topic that is 7 minutes or less in length. The vision is the viewer having a choice of what order they watch the videos in. I planned for a branch that goes in two different directions that are not interconnected. Another problem is how KZbin treats the content. discoverability is infinitely better when keywords can fit in both the title and description. The title has a limit of 100 characters so it's difficult to craft a title that both represents what the content is and have it be readable by a human

I found that the CDROM was always invoked for any of the options in autoexec beneath the CDROM option. Unless I am missing something you needed to put 'goto end' at the end of each option in autoexec.bat kzbin.info/www/bejne/nqWqoGqFacSqec0
