Think I was mostly Moose or Tiger for Whacky Wheels! That one and Scorched Earth were the only ones I played, but I've come to greatly appreciate Win, Lose or Draw much more recently. :)

I had to rewatch it. You unlocked a core memory. 'Ski or Die' is one of the first games I've ever played, and I totally forgot about it. I played it on the Amiga though. But man, the pixel art fascinates me somehow. It's so noisy to look at, I love it

Haven't played any of them, but they take me back to playing "Word Rescue (part 1)" and "Math Rescue (part 1)". Awesome channel, came for the OST's, stayed for more like this!

I'm glad you only played Part 1, because I've played the later episodes of Math Rescue. One section has these weird background tiles that look like prolapsed anuses, and it sticks with you forever…

I've played some of these games growing up, like Wacky Wheels, OMF 2097 and Redhook. I also recommend California Games. It's a bit like Ski or Die but with more diversity on the minigames.

As cool as Ski or Die is, Skate or Die was my go-to. More wheels and less cold. Which are always good bonuses. And you're right, pirates are cool. I'm surprised you didn't just leave it there for Redhook's Revenge.

This made me realise I had way too many DOS games that were "multiplayer" in the sense that I'd make my poor friends sit there while I played them. Eagle Eye Mysteries and the CGA Carmen Sandiego games especially. I needed them to bounce ideas off of!

Brilliant first "planned" video! After seeing you streaming for so long, it's a bit uncanny seeing you do a scripted video (kind of like watching a member of parliament get up and do a freestyle rap instead of droning for an hour about fiduciary policy, except in the opposite direction), but you did a good job; I actually can't think of any better local multiplayer games that you might have missed. Lately I've been doing some _Liero_ with friends, but I'm not sure that that counts since it's more of a post-DOS game. I appreciate that you made obvious effort to make this video as accessible as possible, both for people who are new to DOS gaming and people who are already enthusiastic about it; if I had made this video, I would probably have picked games which only work with IPX/SPX and require five compatibility hacks to run today, because I'm an obnoxious poser hipster like that, but you did exactly the opposite and picked games which are easy and fun for anyone to play even today. Much appreciated, Emmx0r!

Redhook's Revenge rules, it's a real shame they didn't voice all the characters. Some feedback, the background audio is a little low and it's hard to hear clearly over your voice. The audio clip at 0:39 is also a tad loud compared to everything else. Neat video, do another one!

I KNOW. MY AUDIO IS ATROCIOUS! (And I actually fixed it a lot!) I'm using an ancient, cheapo webcam to record it, but have learned a lot from making this vid. Next time it should be a bit better. :) Thanks for watching, and for the feedback!

For great multiplayer games that aren't listed here, I would probably add Squarez Deluxe, Hexagon and the DOS version of Bubble Bobble.

At school we played Super Karts. This would have been 1994 or 1995 I think. My memory tells me it even had network play, but that might not be true.

Even though there are quite a few games in the same vein, different people definitely prefer different ones! Some people I know even love Gorillas the most! That's why I couldn't help but reference all three of those (though there are plenty more.) Worms 2 was my favourite for a good while, I even made my own voice clips for it! :)
