I remember this song debut on 106&Park & Free said she felt like Champion was the single she should’ve went with , I still remember that hook & what brought me back here …hope she doing well
@bluscorpion2 жыл бұрын
Agreed, but that was the video formula Missy was using then for her own videos. Bubble gum rap with a snippet of hard bars and a biting beat. But these here shoulda been two different videos. Agreed!

Funny to see Tim and Ms Jade pay homage to the music group Devo, and also finding out Tim sampled a sfx from one of their songs for Tweet “Oops Oh My”

Why was she slept on..That album was decent.
@saleemfields71956 жыл бұрын
She wasn't selling sex so men didn't know how to market her to a rap crowd. She would ve been fire in the early 90 when that salt & pepper era was still relevant. Lil Kim set a sex standard that has dominated the rap scene. The other issue is Eve. By her being from Philly to she had a hard time gaining traction because she couldn't spit as well as Eve.
@bobloblaw70305 жыл бұрын
because she wanna be a mix of missy elliott and eve and nothing special about her. Put anyone on a timbaland beat and the can be decent too

Even though I'm not too fond of the fact that she came for my girl Missy, I will never deny the talent Jade possessed throughout her early years. "Girl Interrupted" was such a slept-on masterpiece for the 2002 album rap scene.
@Coco-fi4mv19 күн бұрын
But I heard she didn’t start it tho…. I don’t think she could have done anything to jeopardize her career unless it was to defend herself which would be rightfully so…
@UnreleasedUnderratedRnBgrooves19 күн бұрын
@ she did start it. I was there in real time. She was bad mouthing Missy 8 years after her album underperformed and then dragged in Timbaland. If anything she could’ve taken jabs at Tim’s label BeatClub, Missy beared no responsibility for her downfall. And even if the statements were true why was Missy on Jade’s album in the first place if she disliked her? It doesn’t add up.
