@jmnindfw
@jmnindfw Жыл бұрын
Hindus, Sikhs, and others faced the same challenges. It wasn't that Muslims or anyone else were forced by the government to move. Simplified, the Muslims didn't trust the Hindus and vice versa. Muslims insisted on an Islamic state in those regions that were predominantly Muslim (ultimately Pakistan and East Pakistan). Muslims were frightened to live in the Hindu secular state (India) and Hindus conversely frightened of living in an Islamic state. Millions of people were displaced, mostly by their neighbors because of religious fear and hatred. Also, I don't mean to ignore those who aren't Muslim or Hindu and face the same problems.

🤷‍♂️This show is such a baffling misunderstanding of what type of hero Kamala Khan is, the fact that one of her co-creators worked on this show is honestly confusing as fuck. Kamala in the comics is a street level hero, she’s pretty much a female Pakistani Peter Parker but who lives in New Jersey and is New Jersey’s hero. Kamala mostly fights street level crime, saves people from fires etc. She gets whacky and out there every now and then with the stakes but not in her literal origin. This show on the other hand has instead decided to introduce inter-dimensional super soldiers, an inter-dimensional world ending threat, a super special family legacy, a secret group of red daggers that fight off the Clan Destines and now Time travel. All these things in Kamala’s origin story, who thought that was a good idea? The show had the perfect outline in the comics, the show should have focused on Kamala fighting small time crime and superhero antics (saving people from fires or getting hit by cars) with DODC breathing down her neck, learning about her powers and balancing her personal life, religion and friendships with her superhero life. I think the Batman proved that you don’t need a big flashy Villain fight to make a superhero interesting. The climax of that movie pretty much involved Batman fighting some goons and then helping people after the Riddlers terrorist attack. They could have done something similar for Kamala at the end. Also keeping the character street level that fights small time crime probably would be cheaper and less resource intensive as well. Plus they still could have explored the partition and the difficulties of it, like how the damn comics did. Also Why the fuck did we need Kamala time travelling to the partition for? It’s like the story cared more for exploring the partition than they did adapting Kamala properly. Also why is Kamala so passive in this show? She feels like a passenger that’s just following other people around who explain things to Kamala, when she gets attacked she runs away and then repeat. Where’s the Kamala that wanted to be a hero, and is literally going out of her way to be a proactive hero that saves people and makes New Jersey streets safer? Also they’ve stripped out all the goofy charm from the comics. I never would have guess that the power change would have been one of my smaller grievances for this show. Like I still hate the new powers but holy crap do they not come close to being the worst problem with this show.

This is the exact same thing that happened with Captain America in Age of Ultron and Endgame. He saw a picture of his children shortly after he awoke from the ice. And at the end of Endgame he went back in time and produced the children and "closed the loop." So did Kamala Khan go back and "close the loop." She was always the person her grandmother spoke to, who produced the "stars."

@@Tom-iy8bb Even the writers said that they deliberately put that in the movie to set up what would happen in Endgame. How in the world do you contradict the writers of both movies? If they were nit Steve's kids, it would create a HUGE plothole in the movie and contradict the Hulk's claim that the past can't be changed. The writers deliberately put the Hulk's comment in the movie so that you know that nothing was changed when they went back to the past. What happened had always happened. The 2024 Avengers had always gone back to 2014 and the 1970s. They were there in the first movie, but that part wasn't featured. The only new timeline created was by Loki. And it lasted only about 4 or 5 minutes, if that long. That's also proven by the fact that the Infinity Stones, which become impotent in ANY OTHER timeline, worked. But the 1 that was removed by Loki b3came impotent immediately, like a paperweight.
@likeluptid
@likeluptid Жыл бұрын
@MJistheGOAT He did not know. At no time in the movie did Steve Rogers ever learn that they were his children. Peggy was trying to tell him, but she couldn't get her words together. The thing that confuses me the most is how Endgame COMPLETELY explained itself, but so many people still got it wrong. I'm dumbfounded. There is no part of that movie that does not explain itself. The writers made sure to include the Hulk's statement that nothing that happens is changed. Everybody, and I do mean EVERYBODY, acts like they heard that statement, but they Don't apply what they learned. If it happened, it can't be changed. So when the Avengers went back in time, that's when you learned that they had always gone back in time. During the first Avengers movie the 2024 Avengers were in the background, just as Steve Rogers was somewhere in the background in Winter Soldier. How do you know this. THE HULK SAID IT!!!!! How THICK does the skull have to be to not get it??? What happened can't be changed!!! They had ALWAYS gone back in the past. Nothing was changed!!!! The writers included a conversation between the Hulk and the Ancient One reaffirming that what happens can't be changed, but if something is changed, it creates a new branch of reality from the point of change. And the Ancient One was not giving up that Stone unless the Hulk PROMISED to return the Stones to the each point in the timeline it was taken from so that no new timeline is created. And the Hulk kept his promise. Loki was the only person to throw a wrench in that plan. He created a new timeline that lasted only a few minutes but is never shown in the movie. Thanos confirmed that there is only 1 timeline. When Gamora mistakenly thought there were 2 Nebulas, Thanos was wise enough to recognize that it was 1 Nebula from 2 different points in the timeline. Your writers are still educating you on what they are intending. Then there was the Loki series in which Loki was confused and the TVA told him that the Avengers did what they were supposed to do. They completed the loop of what had always happened. Then you have the "What If . . . ?" series that again showed what we have always known since I was a child. That infinite universes are not because of time travel, but it was always a theory that every decision HAPPENS. The entire premise of the show. Also the fact that Infinity Stones have power only in the universe from which they came. The movies and the shows all explain only 1 thing, and for some reason, everyone OVERTHINKS the simplicity of it all. I just don't understand. It's sooooooo simple it's beautiful and very clever. But you all are missing the cleverness of it all because of overthinking it. I just don't understand.

I LOOOVE how they are having bits and pieces of her final costume teased throughout the series! One of the biggest theories I'm curious to see debunked is if Najma is really dead OR if in the other dimension, the djnn exist as beings of pure "Noor" (light energy) and the disintegration of the physical body was to release the true being underneath. The other theory is maybe Kamran turns into the final baddie of the series since he now mirrors the powers of Kamala & the MCU is notorious for having villains who reflect the hero in some capacity.

So about that “Time Travel”, that just occurred in Ms. Marvel Ep.5, it’s appears to be opposite of something called Grandfather Paradox. As the paradox goes, you living in the Present, goes back in time, for whatever reason, ended up killing your grandfather. If you kill your grandfather, he would have never met your grandmother, would not have given birth to your parents, and you would never came to be. Then if you don’t exist to begin with, how is it that you can go back in time to even kill your grandfather in the first place. What just occurred here, call it “Saving Grandmother”, you exist in the Present, you ended up back in time, you have to save your grandma if she’s in trouble, she would eventually meet your grandpa, they will give birth to your parents, you came to be.

Just some clarification on the Partition. It may seem like from the show that Partition of india was a bad idea concocted by the brits. The actuality was a mix of things. Partition of India was needed, there is no doubt about that but how it was done is the problem. The brits drew the line and called it quits without understanding region, language or taking into account the Sikhs and the Christian. This lead to a lot of violence and broken families as shown in the show. And to explain why Partition was needed, all you need to see is the treatment of hindus in Pakistan and the Muslims in India. Pakistan has a small hindu community (much much smaller than the Muslim community of India, especially after the creation of Bangladesh), they do sometimes get under threat by hate mongers but over the past 2 decades the cases have dropped significantly. Sadly that can't be said about india where Muslims are treated worse day by day. With laws and communal violence and whole regions being under siege by indian army, Muslims in india are going through what the jews went through in Germany. It only solidifies that both these communities need to be separated, so Pakistan was needed, how it was created and drawn out is the issue.

Just a correction about NWH: the spell didn't change the past, it just changed the memories of the past and it blocks the perception of any past record of the existence of Peter. So any picture or mention of Peter could not be perceived. So those that knew Peter closely like Ned and MJ would have very hazy memories of anything in their past that involved Peter. Stark still left EDITH to Peter and it was confiscated by Damage Control after Peter was arrested

Thinking Kamala could end up with a Rick Jones-type connection to Carol Danvers, with the bangles forcing one of them into the negative zone, AKA the Noor dimension, at any given time. As an Indian, I must state facts about the Indian partition. India was divided because of Muslim league's demand, headed by Md Jinnah, of a separate nation ONLY for muslims so that he can become Prime Minister and Mr Nehru can become the Indian PM . India, though with Hindu majority, was open for ALL RELIGIONS. The Hindus, Sikhs and Christians in Pakistan area were massacred, even now the minorities of Pakistan are persecuted. Muslims from Indian side had a choice whether to go to Pakistan or not, hence even now India is home to 2nd Highest Muslim population in world. The fact that they are forced to leave India is not true, it was their CHOICE to leave.
