Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a neurological disease where your body’s immune system mistakenly attacks itself-specifically, the protective coating on your nerve fibers (myelin). As myelin is damaged, your brain can’t send signals correctly. Picture your brain as a smartphone, sending a bajillion texts a day. MS is the bad cell service stopping those messages from getting to where they need to go. Unfortunately, MS gets worse over time and leads to varying degrees of impairment.
