MS Poseidon 2022 Update pt. 2

Building the MS Poseidon again. What better way to start the new year than on the back of the old fellow himself! : D

Dude, this is still truly incredible! The work you put into this is beyond remarkable and I am super, duper excited for the whole thing. The ship is incredibly accurate, complex, personalized and humongous. Your planning and recreation skills still blow me away. I still love hearing you describe stuff, like the restaurant next to the lobby, the lobby glass dome (I believe it's made from glass and clear plastic), the bedbrooms, the bizzare engine layout (the horizontal exhaust funnel area was like that on the old map, too), that staff stairway we saw the characters climb, etc. I'm pretty sure that I never noticed the II on the stern before, even though I recreated the text myself onto the back of your last Poseidon build awhile after I got hold of it. Gotta love that wide stern, too. And as for those sleek bow areas below the bridge, I do believe that you have it correct, though I need to check the Broadway map again, and your last build, too, as it had it as library (top), bar (middle), and spa / gym (bottom). And yeah, I'm excited for the stores, as the layout of them here is deeper than the old one's, and I remember being so ecstatic when I found those store pictures you were talking about here. Considering how huge the map is, I'm hyped for the engine rooms (I love large, dark, complex facility areas), the ballroom, and many more. Keep on going strong, Dooku! Thank you so much for making this huge Poseidon fan here super happy!

me who still starts with the keel and works up all the decks- and that uptake reminds me of my original tiger ship where the uptake ran forward about half the ships length to get to the funnel

I think Poseidon Southampton two is supposed to mean that it’s the second Poseidon film and it’s probably set after the original ships sank it’s like Titanic two

Honestly, I can’t say. I don’t have as much free time as I used to so progress as been much slower. Hopefully I can at least finish it sometime this year!

It has Poseidon II because it’s the 2nd ship to carry the name not counting the terrible movie from 2005 at least thats what 2 would have

That is a brilliant theory, and one I also held for quite sometime. Until I realized a few weeks before the release video the II is actually just a window for the mooring station at the back of the ship 🤣🤣
