Dr Thrower, I have MS and was exposed to high doses of radiation as a baby and then as a child from nuclear ☢️ testing in the Nevada Desert. How can I get in touch with you on this?

Hi, Ruth! In a few weeks, Dr. Thrower will be hosting a virtual town hall discussion with us and answering the attendees' questions. We encourage you to register for this Zoom conference using the link below; if you cannot attend, register and reply to the registration confirmation email with your question so Dr. Thrower can still address it. Our Zoom conferences get uploaded to our KZbin channel regularly and are available for viewing on the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation Facebook page. We hope to see you at the town hall meeting in June. Take care! us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_yjvahzjTTJC0Dresbr3KMA

Several years back I was working with Dr. Timothy Bennett at CSU Fort Collins Colorado and I proposed a highly probable cause for MS as well as the breakdown of the blood-brain barrier. He, among several other department heads signed nondisclosure/no compete forms regarding my hypothesis and now the time has come for me to look for a university or foundation to fund my research. The monetary amount will be very little compared to most other research (~ $125,000 so long as I have access to a GC/MS and possibly an FTIR) but finding that kind of funding is difficult for someone in my position. Do you, the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, know whom I might be able to speak with?

I have been really struggling since my 30's, I was diagnosed with EB Virus in my early twenties. I discussed with a military doctor that I sometimes have numbness in my ring finger and pinky I do have this sensation in my feet like when your foot is asleep you get pins and needles feeling. It comes and goes. I will have to discuss this with a doctor when I get insurance. I am really struggling and can't seem to communicate my symptoms when I see a doctor my mind just goes blank. I have found ticks on me before also. I noticed that when I take an antibiotic I feel better aside from the side effects of the antibiotics.

Those closet to the sun have a lower incidence of MS. Which vitamin do we get from the sun? Vitamin D. I live in the southwest and my level was still low. I take a supplement almost daily. Rotate between 2000 to 5000 iu. (Just my 2 cents worth)

ticks live further from the equator... surely there has to be some doctors that have at least thought of this coincidence.
