Another one brought back from the dead. Nice work Richard. The 200t is a classic that deserves resurrection.

"It just takes too long and you can't charge for that..." Another reason I like this channel.

Good content, Richard! Glad to see I'm not the only one whose been frustrated by a project taking longer than it should.

This was a good one Richard! Appreciate you taking the time to share it with us. The shirt really made me laugh so thank you!

Nothing worth while comes easy. Taking longer and sharing the details is why you have a following. It may be a smaller following than other channels, but that's probably because not a lot of people dig into saws to get it right.

Good stuff man, I like that you do a proper diagnosis; rather than throwing parts at stuff. That’s the difference between a mechanic/ technician and a “parts changer” Good stuff as always rich

Neat seeing and hearing your process. Oh! I took your advice and went and picked up a 261 with mtronic yesterday. Dumb lucked my way into a promo with a bunch of freebies. Haven't got to play with it much, but I really like it already. Thanks!

It's one of my most used diagnostic tools I use. Good investment as they the MV8500 can be had for about $115. Just as valuable as a multimeter is to an electrician.

If anything gets by the fuel filter the carb will not function properly. These are very tiny passages.

@richardflagg About how much would that repair cost a customer? Thanks!

more than the cost of a new saw IF one is paying by the hour for shop time.

Been out of production for a reason…. They suck. I am also comparing a ported 201tcm to a ported 200t More power with a (ported) 201 and much better ergonomics and you don’t have to turn the switch back to the on position. Just pull and go after initial start up.
