First of all: I used no external effects. All you hear is out of the Box.
Oh, I already love this new series.
Just like I loved the NTS-1 within a few minutes. KORG actually created a masterpiece here. My respect.
So within my nusical Spring 2020 we will test like every gear on the NTS-1. I really feel like it.
Today is my favorite Volca, my Volca Bass.
Small note: Unfortunately there are some bugs in this video, but I just didn't want to take it a second time because I think the good content outweighs. So for you pedants a big excuse. Without mistakes it is not real.

The arpeggiator of the NTS-1 is inconceivable, you can create long tone chains that come very close to random.
On such an arpeggio I play improvised melodies, pluck sounds, lead sounds, wobble sounds on the Volca Bass. I had a lot of fun shooting it.

Most of the Time I am using the Specular Reverb v3 for my jams.
Sometimes the NTS-1 with the Cathedral Preset or just the iPad.

Hey, I really love this set up! One question, I have recently bought an Nts1 and I thought it worked fine but since a few days it has some troubles (doesnt sync when volca is connected, nts1 goes mute/ breaks up while playing. When I unplug it it is fine again. I especially have these problems when I connect my esi 49 midi keyboard to the nts1. It feels like the nts1 gets „stuck“ on one single note when I play around and tweak the knobs a little and after a few seconds there is suddenly no sound neither when I hit the midi keyboard nor the ribbon keys on the nts1. Did you experience any trouble with your nts1 or do you have a clue what I can do about it despite sending it back to the musicstore? I also don t know if I have warranty since it is a „diy“ kit and I assembled it. I couldn t find anything on the internet regarding my problems.

I dunno if you've seen the impressive "volca bass" oscillator for the nts-1, but it's impressive and free, and I can see these two making a lot of great berlin school sounds together. I mean, like you're already doing, just another tool in the toolbox!

It's nothing special... Osc 1 and Osc 2 the 2. Osc on -12 and then adjust the eg int.

I don't believe there is at the moment (probably a future firmware start up setting), but I get that lower osc sound by adjusting the waveshape controls which gives a sub osc feel, and likewise you can go up an octave the same way on the tri and upn shapes I recall (away from them atm) ...

Welcome to the synthworld..volca bass only has midi in, meaning you can play squences from your daw To the volca bass.butt not the other way around.

Nice stuff man. Just got an NTS-1 and considering getting a volca bass. Think they'll pair nicely with my Circuit and SP404A. Is the NTS-1 being sequenced through the Volca, or can you hold an arp note or is it being played back through a daw?
