It seems like ROGER is still there to me! The way he would bounce on and off the stage, it's like he prepared us to forever see him! Maybe it's the way he "loved" us and made us feel so "included" in their act! Let's make sure through ROGER that we LOVE ❤️ TODAY! I'm sure that's what he would want us to do! Sending the PEACE of GOD'S ❤️ LOVE to first, his "beautiful" family and BAND-FAMILY, and thanks so much for all your hard work, from yall BAY AREA FAMILY!

This comment is coming from a Dayton,Ohio resident who went to see Roger Troutman and the Human Body many times at a small night club in Englewood ,Ohio called TJ's lounge ! This place was predinately white with the exception of the band ,friends ,and family ! Roger was so multi talented along with brothers and how could i ever forget Gregory Jackson !! Other than Prince,Roger played Jimmi Hendrix guitar music better than i have ever heard still to this day ! So very sad about the tragedy but yet so joyous to know his brothers and other band members continue what would become Zapp hitting rhe big spotlight in the music industry ! There were never ever any problems between white or black racial issues whatsoever ! Its AWESOME that this rebirth became a REALITY ,some things have just gotta HAPPEN !!

Cause nothing is live but the drums..everything else is pre recorded..instruments are just props..music is polished just like the record all videos sound the same..nobody is singing either.

@@TurboMan51 actually as someone who knows this band, I can tell you this, everything you see on stage is live, they use backing tracks for things that can't be live, like Shirley's vocals and the clap loop. Everything else is 100% live. The only time they ever mimed was in a television performance where they were forced to do so.
@TurboMan514 жыл бұрын
@@ThatSceneKittyCatFemboy Ok if you know the band BUT I stand behind my comment WHY? because I was at a concert in Macon Georgia and I was BACKSTAGE when they was on stage and I KNOW what I saw and heard BTW doing the 70's I was a member of an R&B Band and I have shared the stage with the likes of Joe Simon..Margie Alexander..Betty Swan..King Floyd..Jimmy Hughes..Al Green..Ollie Nightingale..Bill Coday..Sam and Bill..Mose Dillard Revue featuring Benny Latimore..David Coe..Sammy Cole ect..all who was NATURAL artist of that time so I KNOW LIVE music.

What happened to Roger ? Who killed him .... why ?..... that s so sad
@rightbehindyou93984 ай бұрын
In 1999, supposedly Roger's closest brother Larry shot him in the chest twice with a revolver as they were walking out of the Troutman Sound Labs (their studio), he then drove off ~5 blocks away, crashed into a tree and shot himself. Details are extremely unclear and people's recollections/retellings vary highly. I personally don't buy any version of this tale, I and many others think they were set up.
