Alhamdulillah! We are humbled and excited to share with everyone the OFFICIAL MSA National Podcast! Today, we interview Fahad Amjad, an inspiring student doing remarkable things, Masha'Allah! He's also part of team #MUHSEN muhsen.org
----
A little about him: As Salam Alaikum! My name is Fahad, and I wanted to share a little about myself.
I currently reside in Jacksonville, Florida with my family. I graduated from the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind last year, and I am currently enrolled at Florida State College at Jacksonville. I just wrapped up my freshman year, and I also have an internship lined up for this summer as well so it’ll be a busy one!
Being someone who has been blind since birth, I can tell you a thing or two about never letting anything get in the way of achieving your goals and dreams and how people can self-motivate themselves to get to where they want. One of those goals is to continue educating people on the topic of disability awareness and how people with special needs are just like everybody else: They are human and have dreams.
I’m super excited to be able to fulfill my other goal of volunteering for a nonprofit organization and be a part of the Muhsen team. It’s an honor to help them, and I look forward to bigger and better things.
