MSC - Christmas Markets (Northern Europe) Cruise Part 1

Part 1 of our Christmas Markets (Northern Europe) Cruise with MSC on the Virtuosa.
Sailing from Southampton on Friday 9th December 2022.
Easy boarding with a short wait for our cabin, when we booked the cheapest price was still with a balcony. Too cold to use, but great for looking out of.
The 9th was at sea after an evening sailaway followed by a day at sea before reaching Hamburg, after sailing up the river Elbe in the early hours.
Hamburg will be on part 2.

4.40, if you press the button on the table, one of the waiters will bring you a 'better' coffee than from those decanters! Stunning ship!

What capacity was the ship running at? Passenger list 100% full or somewhere around 75%? Thanks

Sorry, thought I had answered but obviously it didn't send. Don't know the capacity but at a guess 60% to 65%. Was busy but not hectic.

southampton docks is only a 10 min taxi away from home 2 so you got on the ship at mayflower park area

Yes we did. The cruise was a bargain price too. Lucky you being so close to the sea, down south as well. We're back off to Spain on Monday for 3 months.
