Im Malaysian and I am proud of SRG’s achievements this year. Finishing winning MSC, IESF, and finishing 3rd in M6 is a huge achievement for a growing region like us. Regardless of the lost, they did us proud. Congrats TLID! What an inspirational team. From not even qualifying for MDL ID playoffs to grandfinalist in M-series. They deserve this. Agenda: An Evaluation of Hunleyo's recent Analysis Why SRG lost to TLID: 1. Faviann is a monster assassin. Unlike Sekyss' previous opponent, Oneshot, Faviann doesn't choke and overextend. Not to mention he (Faviann) was shown to have better mechanics and game sense all throughout the series (be it retri battles, damage output and capitalization, and aggression). 2. Priority target. Other teams, such as RRQ or TS for instance, somehow ignore Innocent or Stormie in their series against SRG. That however is a keypoint TLID were able to exploit. While Aran and Widy were busy making space for the carries to shine, they also make a clear pathing for them towards the backline. 3. Gameplay and gameplan. As aforementioned, TLID were able to exploit the weaknesses of SRG via their previous matches against teams they won against and they lost to (eg. FNOP in UB). They were able to prevent SRG from snowballing by being able to read out their rotations. TLID also figured out that by ignoring Kramm's attempt to separate them, they choose to fight SRG with the numbers advantage and winning out on the objectives. Another factor is how SRG activate through 2 other methods: Comeback via capitalization of mistakes by the opponent and reliance of mid-late game powerspike. TLID, being an early to mid game team, used their advantage to starve out SRG making comebacks low in chance and lessen their mistakes through steady plays and disengagements on their counterattacks. 4. Drafting. Unlike SRG's previous opponents, TLID have a wide read of the meta and have a higher hero pool than of the former. Notable example is Stormie refusing to pick up the Yve who's currently dominating the midlane meta alongside Zhu Xin. Then there is Yums who picked Khufra up against a Suyou (mind you shreds him like paper). 5. Few things to lol at. Having learned a few things from KK, Faviann is a sigma jungler whereas Sekyss for some unknown reason was a beta that series. Yehezkiel showing Stormie who's the true mage prodigy that series. Kramm getting gapped by an ID exp laner AINTNOWAY (apparently the quota is that PH players > ID players). Aeronshiki outperforming any other goldlaner not named Kelra. Then there's Widy who's just a chill guy doing his job as a roamer. How's that for an evaluation? 😉

fact: in M series from M1 to M5: no import player in the winning team. if you wanna win msc you need to import but if you wanna win Mseries. Indo needs to stop importing. learn from TLID. convert BRAWL server mode to MACRO server. Team fight is an easy win if you already win hero level from winning macro. after all this is a strategy game. mlbb compared to other 5v5 games is the smallest map and no need to return to buy items. that's what makes this game really unbalanced once you already occupy the map. the roamer just needs to camp and pressure map control. map info is the priority now. eager to invade enemy jungle is the key.
