This is is our BRUTALLY HONEST Ship Review of MSC Cruises newest cruise ship, MSC Euribia. This was our first cruise on MSC Euribia, MSC Cruises newest and most environmentally-friendly cruise ship yet. When people talk about MSC Cruises, you will hear a variety of mixed reviews - many will say that the service and food is terrible, but the MSC cruise ships themselves are top notch. In this MSC Euribia Ship Review we will tell you everything that impressed us with this cruise ship, and everything that disappointed us. We stayed in MSC Yacht Club aboard MSC Euribia - while it may be sold as a luxury cruise experience, and just doesn't hit the mark as you would expect for the money.

was on it on Decemeber. Stay in the Duplex Suite. Arrive at the port at 1030, was on the ship by 1050, butler took us all the way in. fruit plate and flowers in cabin, bottle of bubbly waiting for us. breakfast menu was fantastic... like litterly everything you marked as bad on this was the complete opposite of reality for us Menu in the resteraunt was fantastic, staff were extreamly attentative. like I honestly dont understand your review at all

Thanks for the video. We are boarding Euribia in 12 days but with only P&O as a comparison are looking forward to a different cruise experience. We don't have huge expectations but are hoping service has improved since the chaos of the full capacity people have experienced during more peak times. We have some early Xmas markets to look forward to at least lol :)

As someone who’s done princess, Cunard, and P&O (twice - and yess, all carnival corp) I did MSC virtuosa in sept and… well, there is a lot to like about carnival corp lines - let’s put it that way.

Don't go in expecting the worst, honestly, it's complicated due to size but there's maps at every elevator. Need customer services? Good luck, i near punched one for her lack of intelligence. Not really but i had to walk away, she was an idiot. Another dealt with my wife, she buried her head in a keyboard, honestly, 4-5 minutes lol a guy came over and sorted it in 30 seconds. Clearly she was just hitting keys. Their (I've not had that question) knowledge is just shocking. You going to Brugge? Look up ambassadors tours and activities. He's the best guide! His name is joost. It's free but he earns his tip! Order 2 drinks at a time, on second drink, order 3rd! Just be warned, we were above the lounge / big band, sound only cuts at 1am, so we got a free massage every night, I didn't mind, wife hated it. Oh and new sailers? Bring ear plugs, you're tortured with alarms till you beep your card! But honestly, the good things outweighs the bad things. We had fun, loads. Just TRY to relax 🫡

We are also in YC on the 24th. It was very competitively priced at £1100 each so we are not expecting miracles. Hamburg is closed on Sundays, if it's raining we will give it a miss and do the markets in Bruge.

You got what you paid for. Suite class is much more expensive on other cruise lines compared to MSC. I’m not even convinced you were on the ship. All of your footage looks like stock footage. And if it’s not, your cinematography is quite boring.

I really enjoy MSC cruises I think their product and value is incredible. But i do totally agree with your comment around Ysxht Cleb. I sailed in YC aboard Vietuosa earlier this year and it was exactly like that. Oh the kerfuffle that ensued when j asked for some diary free porridge.

Thanks for watching Mark! Sorry to read you had a similar experience. We found staff really quite unhelpful, particularly with dietary matters! We’re used to Holland America, Celebrity and Princess which will more or less bend over backwards to provide a meal you can eat! For what we paid for Yacht Club, we would have expected this level of service to be matched!

My recent voyage on the MSC Euribia fell far short of expectations. While a cruise should be a time of relaxation and exploration. The most significant disruption was the unrelenting noise on Deck 14. A room change wasn't an option. This constant disturbance significantly detracted from the enjoyment of the entire cruise. Adding to the frustration was the lack of responsive service when encountering problems. Situations that should have been addressed promptly were met with apathy and a sense of being brushed aside. To make matters worse, upon reviewing my credit card statements after the cruise, I discovered unauthorized charges. Needless to say, this incident eroded any remaining trust I had in the MSC Cruises operation. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, the combination of these issues paints a disappointing picture. Based on this experience, I can confidently say that this will be my first and last cruise with MSC.

No. That is a function of the device, not of the service. To test this, assuming you use a phone, turn wifi on and connect. Then turn cellular data OFF. Your phone will not allow you to create a hotspot. :(

Service standards slipping seems to be a feature of MSC Cruises this last couple of months. We were on Virtuosa for the second time last month and were surprised at how much the service had fallen. Restaurant staff in particular seemed to have forgotten basics of customer service and Guest Services staff seemed to be going out of their way to be rude to guests. Hola Tacos previous all-you-can-eat deal is now reduced to a slimmed down tasting menu.

100% agree with you! It was sold as luxury and it wasn’t. We had to change our cabin key 4 times and were locked out of Yacht Club too. Food was extremely average (not great sometimes) and the menu limited. We waited 40 minutes for a pot of tea at breakfast once and during evening meal, finished our starters twice before getting drinks. It was really hit and miss. We only saw our butler once, on embarkation. Only managed the buffet once (due to massive crowds) and food was cold. We will never go on MSC again. The in-cabin announcements were repeated constantly, at each port, in multiple languages and not conducive to relaxing in the cabin. Don’t think you’ll get an afternoon snooze on port days as announcements are made for muster drills each time the ship docks! They are announced twice and then repeated again the next day (for those who couldn’t be bothered to attend the day before!) The ship is just a glorified booze cruise and people were ordering drinks as soon as theirs arrived (because of 1/2 hour wait, due to lack of staff). On winter cruises, everyone is below deck and there just isn’t enough seating. We had coffee twice in the Carousel lounge during the day and both times, we waited so long for delivery, it was cold. We didn’t book speciality dining as we had expected to enjoy the YC meals and buffet. The YC Top Sail grill on deck, is totally unusable during wet and windy weather (common on its winter schedule). There is no undercover seating. It leaves you with a choice of either eating in your cabin, a very limited, average lunch in the YC restaurant between 12-1:30, or facing the thousands in the buffet! Yes, there is plenty of food and you will not starve, but don’t think you’re going to get something delicious 😅 The rest of the ship left me feeling that it was a glorified cross channel ferry booze cruise! It was very loud and very busy and we were unable to find seats in bars every night! I will add that we had a winter cruise. Obviously during the summer, more people would be outside and the ship would be less crowded below deck during the day. But the food, service and lack of space below deck, would be the same. It was our worst holiday in 30 years!

We were on the MSC World Europa Yacht Club earlier this year, and after 6 prior MSC Yacht Club cruises, the experience has been diminished so much, it is now terrible.

Your Yacht Club review is exactly why I'm quite happy with no having the budget for it. It seems that the offer, although quite comfortable, is nowhere near the difference of cost between a classic balcony cabin and a Yacht club experience. Of course, had I have the money, I would go full experience everytime. But the ratio between what I spend in a classic cabin and the experience I get is much more satisfying as I have the impression I'm better served for the small amount I paid. As for the food, I've had 2 experience : one very similar to yours on the quite recent Seashore. Food was average, service was minimal and we had also a dining time at 21h45, even if we traveled with our 7 years old daughter. And no possibility to change. The Sushi specialty restaurant was excellent though. And recently, on the older Fantasia, the experience was quite better. Food was very good from the buffet to the restaurant, with excellent service and very nice crew. Anyway, thank you for the review, Euribia is part of a class of ships I still have not tested in MSC, but I'm looking for when I get the chance.

There are some ridiculously low prices for euribia so I've been considering it because I really liked Virtuosa despite these kinds of issues. I struggled with vegetarian food too. If it's got even worse I might give it a miss.

Morning Darren - we had a better experience on Virtuosa, but some of the issues were experienced. As a vegetarian, waiters made me feel like a nuisance - never been made to feel like that on a cruise before. Even in Yacht Club, which cost £3300 for a 5 night cruise.

I was on the same sailing as you and in Yacht Club. I have never in 42 cruises heard the word No said so many times as I did on Euribia. I could write a long story about our issues but I am trying to forget the cruise as it cause so much disappointment. For us the saving grace was the Maître D and Head Waiter and our two brilliant waiters. They did special meals for us like Lasagne as we would miss Med night menu. They did Tomatoes and Mozzarella when I couldn't find a starter I liked. If it wasn't for them I would have got off the ship early. ! A quick couple of things I must mention, in the bathroom the tray with the pots and liquid soap etc was missing from our cabin. I was told that if I wanted a shower cap to call Butler for one ! When I asked about Afternoon Tea, I was told No, go to Grill outside and get scones etc. I asked for a Lemon Drop at the Top sail, No if it is not on the drinks menu you cannot have it. And so it went on, but the straw that broke the camels back and made me cancel my Feb Birthday cruise on Euribia was, a poop stain on our cabin bathroom floor from previous guests. By day 3 that was it I had enough of seeing that stain and reported it to Concierge. What a lot of upset that stain cost. Eventually after Assistant Butler said he had cleaned it off but actually he hadn't, I got in touch with Butler and he brought cleaning stuff and actually washed it off. Oh and I must mention the Spa...hmm ...there was a naked man in there wandering around. I couldn't get out of there quick enough omg no way was I going in the whirlpools etc after him being in there. The shows on Euribia were poor and weak. Couldn't hold a candle to the brilliant shows on other MSC ships I have seen. So thank you for your brutally honest review as I was worried I was the only one who was disappointed with Euribia and especially the YC.

To all that are watching this video and are awaiting a trip on the EURIBA don’t be put off as we have completed 30 cruises and our last cruise a week ago was on the EURIBA and it was great in every way and I would say better than our celebrity cruise 3 months ago so go open minded and don’t be put off by a sad you tuber get a life-😢

We have just come back from a 7 night northern Europe cruise and I can honestly say it was the worse cruise we have ever been on. Although we only ever travel cattle class, Cunard, P and O and even the old Cruise and Maritime all leave MSC in their wake. Embarking was easy but our cabin steward never topped up our tea making facilities, we ran out of toilet paper and they never even opened our fridge. The buffet was always rammed and the ship was generally overcrowded. Drinks were expensive and the excursions were extortionate. I believe that MSC will get such a bad press that eventually they will either be forced to change or disappear from the UK shores.

Overcrowding in certain areas of the cruise ships cannot be avoided since most of the cruise ships have at least more than 4500-7600 guests capacity onboard ☝️

You’re not quite right! It’s about passenger space ratio, this class of ship has one of the worst in the industry of just 28 cubic feet per passenger! Even the largest Royal Caribbean ships offer a much better PSR

It reminds me of my cruise with MSC Euribia from last week.. I cannot have lactose and asked for a lactose free cappacino... Surely they cannot mess that up.... right..... RIGHT??? I was so sick afterwards. And even while it went good multiple times on the same cruise... that mistake left me so sick for a good few hours of the day. :(

Why does a lot of people say that the standard of the food is above average?? Seems to me that the Yacht Club is always as good as empty. Seems hard to think that a main issue (food) is neglected by quality. Is there anything good in your eyes.....?

I hate to make negative comments and never have but Virtuosa was dangerous levels over 6,000 passengers was awful ,I would like to go yacht club but its too much expense

So did you like Euribia 🤣🤣 No seriously excellent video and balanced with evidence to accompany it. As you know from my review I had different experiences in many aspects, but a lot of of the things you mentioned I watched as you experienced it, so is all very fair. The two alarming things for me are the veggie and disabled access problems, no excuses. Must say I much prefer your critical reviews, I am off to crowd fund for you to go on Margaritaville at sea 🤣

To be honest I can see why he's complaining my relative cannot have any dairy at all because it makes her physically unwell so she has to have vegan food if the staff ignored this it would instantly end her holiday so not everyone is vegan because it's fashionable some have to for medical reasons i disagree about the room though I thought that was lovely particularly after all the inside cabins i have seen i do think real champagne should be in your room though because of how pricey they are

I fear your expectations of past cruises may have effected your view's. We're just home from south hampton to south hampton. We completely agree with some of your views but don't agree with others. We did notice the meat getting cooked on the same hot plate too. We were upgraded pre sail but were back and forward 4-5 times to reception due to access rejections. Customer support/receptionists bowed their heads and typed, no apologies, terrible customer services. Our room attendant couldn't have been nicer, we gave a generous tip. On our last night a waiter was extremely rude to us. The first night i tried to complain about the damage, no cue tip, no chalk, a ball missing and no brush. It's the only pool table on board. The cloth is years old, ships brand new. Reception told me i need to pay for this service, back and forward. I advised you literally don't know what i'm saying nor what you're on about do you? Due to frustration. Its open/free first come first serve. Also it's a non self level pool table so it was like playing screwball scramble pool depending on the sea. The spa? We weren't allowed i because our package was correct but the card wasn't lol the bus to Amsterdam? Crew put us on the wrong bus! Sent to Rotterdam lol repaired it but lost us hour(s) of enjoyment. It was very nice on the ship, not as judgemental as your review but i did say swiftly the marketplace food is deadly, eat eat eat, but a lot of the food is fake/cheap quality. Fruit is the only thing that's 'real'. I love burgers/pizza, the burger could have soaked a ltr of water it was so dry. The pizza was ok but far from delicious. I better stop lol

Must have extremely lousy chefs on board. How difficult is it to make a vegetarian meal??? No consideration at all for those of us that choose to not eat meat.

Awfull experience. The ship wasnt at full capacity and was very overcrowded could get a seat at the theatre’s or bars. Was geared up to get as much money out of you as possible. Cheap to book but we spent £1100 on the ship in 7 days and they charged us an additional £1100 by mistake and 2 weekd later we still havnt had a refund. Very disappointed with the entire experience

We’re in Queens aboard QM2 at the moment, we’ve been totally blown away. A totally different experience to MSC Yacht Club! It’s like staying at The Savoy 👌🏻
