That wasn’t exactly as planned. This isn’t usually the bit that gets me. Just some funny vehicle dynamics when a different wheel makes ground contact first. But if you can recover it, keep going!

Evidently, to some extent. I do wonder if this run will be accepted. The rules stipulate that I must follow the road. My interpretation is that it only counts once time is ticking. We’ve had some liberties before, like cutting corners and the Jonnez precedent.

Why did you adjust the car at the start and why was the muffler off

@@lakugamer2557 This is the save file I must use in this speedrun category. If I don’t want that car as it is, I have to adjust it as part of the run. It’s tuned for nitrous (decently) and it doesn’t have the muffler on.

It is. The old leaderboards (where one of my other runs will hold the record forever for what it’s worth) were archived because the start was changed in the update.
