1978 … 1978 was the first time I went to Gatorland on my first trip to Florida. I enjoyed your cruise videos very much. Makes me think perhaps I might try another cruise. My first and last cruise was in 2010.

I love Gatorland. This is probably my favorite thing I ever did in FL.

Gatorland had a fire in 2006. The Gator mouth is a replica of the original. A defective powered snake warmer sheet caught fire. Gift Shop also was damaged. Any fresh water in Florida may have an alligator in it, even areas sanctioned for swimming.

Speaking of Hilton. We had a bad experience when we got off the cruise ship and we’re going to spend the night at a Hilton Garden Inn at the Fort Lauderdale airport area. It was in terrible shape only to find out that hotel had been flooded just three weeks before so they surface clean it and think it’s OK to reopen it. No it was not. Long story short we ended up at a Hampton Inn across the street and the lady at the Hilton said that their guy operating the shuttle service would not be allowed to take us to the Hampton Inn. They told us that we could walk across a 6 Lane busy Rd. if we wanted to with our luggage. The Hilton family needs to clean up their hotels. Especially as lavishly as they live because I won’t stay in another one.

Lol Gatorland is still cool after all theses years!! They have done great with improvements. So fun!!Love ya can't wait for your next video. We love Disney Springs . Let me give you the deep skinny on Gatorland. I've lived in Orlando since 1968. Gatorland was our go to when we moved here. It was dirt road all the way from the Beach Line to Kissimmee. It felt like a whole day to get there. It was a donation then. My dad would put a quarter in the offering plate tor the 6 of us. We took relatives there when they came. The original gator entrance burned down in the early 2000s. I cried, and it was very sad. The Godwins, who started it. Their great 😂granddaughters children were in my prek class. The son in law runs the park now. They are both amazing. We just went in Feb. Hadn't been there since the 90s. It is a fantastic time. We are thinking about getting a yearly pass.

I enjoyed the cruise you took us on! Dawn I loved your dresses you wore on the cruise. Gator Land interesting but a no for an in person visit. I did a timeshare talk in Vegas. Took an entire day and the promised tickets for a Cirque show weren’t good while we were there. Never again.

My husband and I really enjoyed your videos of your entire cruise. You did such a great job recording. We cruise mainly Royal Caribbean so it was nice to see what MSC Cruise Line had to offer. We also really enjoyed Gatorland. We have been traveling to Florida at least once a year over 35 years and never knew it existed. We will try to visit it one of these trips. I'm sure you know but in case you don't...... the Glass Bottled Coke on your cruise ship was probably Mexican Coke. It's made with SUGAR rather than the high fruit corn syrup that Coke is made with and distributed here in the states!! SUGAR is the better choice for health if you drink sweetened Coke. I drink the PEPSI MADE WITH SUGAR for that reason!!! Too bad Coca Cola won't make it with sugar here in USA. 😢

Glad to know you had a great time on your cruise! Gatorland was cool! I especially liked the last part where you went fast over those hills!! Ha. I hope your stay goes well at Mystic Dunes. My husband, my oldest daughter and I stayed there about 8 years ago. To say the least, it was not the best experience we had. Someone decided to throw an ALL NIGHT party with the music turned up to the absolute loudest. We couldn’t get in touch with ANYONE at all. We then decided to call 911 to report it, but they wouldn’t help us either. Sorry to say this, but I would give it a 1 out of 10. I sure hope you have a wonderful time there and there weren’t any major problems. 😃
