We started cruising in 2019 with a Norwegian Fjords cruise on P&O Britannia, we fell in love with the ship and cruising and quickly booked a further cruise in the summer on MSC Bellissima. We now have completely caught the bug and have over 9 cruises in the next 12 months...

Ben & David also suffered exactly the same screaming and harassment on a MSC cruise in a restaurant. Sounds like their staff need retraining!

Thank you for watching 😃 It was a very different situation.... on the whole the crew are fantastic and they did what they could to make up for it. For us it's more about the resolution as this can happen on other lines too.

The clip in the beginning was great, looking forward to see more of that😁😁 Big shame about the drama in the restaurant, but also nice to see it was resolved and quickly moved on from it! Praying I won't have anything wrong with my cabin or dining room restaurants next week on Grandiosa 🤣

We had a fab cruise on Grandiosa twice this year so certain you will have a good time! It was only one crew member and so many of them were amazing!

@@CruiseBuoys I can confirm, the crew were great. Some of them are not friendly but they are just doing their job. I will say that THE best ones served me in Marketplace and Casino

Loved the video guys. Going on the Seaview next week. Cabin on deck 11, right next to the aft elevators, starboard side. Just looking forward to eating and drinking my way through the different menus. Oh and I’m proposing to my GF on the ship too…..

Which MSC ship/class is your favorite? We did world Europa last year and now we can’t decide between Grandiosa and Seaview (or Europa again but probably not…) both options is autumn, Mediterranean and Yacht Club ;)

We definitely preferred Grandiosa over Seaside… That said apparently the Seaview Evo class i.e. Seashore and Seascape have the best YC apparently with an entire deck for the pools etc 😃 Seaview and Seaside have a larger YC also than Meraviglia and Meraviglia plus class ships… Based purely on ship class we prefer Grandiosa though

I think some have said that the seaside class faces the sea more because of less of a central gallery. Which for some is a good thing. It all depends on your preferences I guess. Thanks for the review! I would LOVE to hear your comparison of Costa vs MSC and which line is better for what. As a North American both intrigue me.

Oddly enough we found the Seaview to have less views of the outside/sea… as the Sky Lounge on Meraviglia class gives stunning views and the additional hot tubs on Meraviglia class are set out to give better views too… Costa Vs MSC comparison is definitely something we are working on 😊

Dear Cruise Buoys Please can you reply to me the link for the video to see your review of the Kids club? I'm wondering how it works ? Like- do you have to sign them up daily for which times they want to go ? Eg Day and night timetables. My nephew wants to go as much as possible but I've no idea if that means we'll have to go sign daily ? Thankyou so much for any information or advice you or a viewer may be able to give me.🤗💞

On MSC kids club is generally open 9am -11pm with the option for the kids to have lunch and dinner. On busier cruises the hours may be limited or they only offer times for families to use the kids club. I believe kids over 10 can sign themselves in and out under 10 they need to be signed in and out of every session. Hope that helps 😀

I like the IDEA of MSC, and I don't mind 200 different Nationalities and languages... but my worry is the FOOD. To me, the food is 50% of any cruise. No, I am not expecting dishes with 3 mussles, 2 small carrots in a cross and a red sauce 'spilled' on the side... but I DO talk about good tasting and hot(!) food, even if it is simple... now, almost all reviews about food on MSC seem to be 3 stars at best, with many just giving one star. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE MSC FOOD? Please explain! By the way; I love your video's and your relaxed presentations.

We have found the food on MSC to generally be pretty good… the MDR will not blow you away but it’s fine… I think some go expecting fine dining… which it’s not

Thanks for the question… We have stayed in a couple of hotels in Barcelona… typically we go back to Leonardo Las Ramblas or Rialto Barcelona… neither are particularly fancy but we found them to be clean and comfortable

Horrible way to be treated! At least mgmt. did something, but still. Almost beats when I was forced to spend the night in the infirmary by NCL! I was tired after a long excursion and just needed to rest & take a nap, but my friend called them because she was afraid I was sick. They took me in a wheelchair & took vitals, which were normal. Insisted I spend the night & be taken to the local hospital by ambulance the next morning in Halifax, NS & needed a letter to return. My friend was not allowed to bring my medication! Next AM at 7:00 I told them there was STILL nothing wrong with me, but they insisted I go to the ER. Friend came with, & long story short, I didn’t get seen by 4:30, ship was leaving at 5:00, so we took cab back to the ship. I was immediately surrounded by screaming guards. Escorting my friend up a crew elevator, they helped her pack our bags & dumped us off, telling me I could rent a car, drive 5 hrs. & rejoin in Charlottetown. Back to ER until 1 AM, doc told me NCL dumped passengers on them all the time. He was so mad he wrote a letter saying I was fine, even though he said he never did that. We stayed at a hotel 2 nights & flew home. Took me 6 mos. to get a report that wasn’t riddled with errors to file w/trip insurance-got reimbursed finally.

Really… on the whole… we have always had the most lovely crew! There are always a few bad eggs but that should never be taken as all crew…
