Maybe this ship "kicks" RCI's ass, but Cruise Critic rates the food as 3.5 of 5 stars or almost unedible in the MDRs.According to their review, you might as well pay for the specialty restaurants or eat in the buffets--there are of them, one on Deck 8 and another on Deck 16. That issue--food quality and its indifferent service in the MDRs--may turn me off from MSC and keep me returning to RCI and Princess. To each its own. Have a fair trip, Mate. Fair winds and following seas.

Check the description for chapters, i filmed a bit slow so you can increase the velocity of the video if you wish. Soon i will make a shorter tour of the ship. I appreciate the effort it took to record the video. Extremely well done and organized. Your video gave a comprehensive tour of the ship. We along with 2 other parties were booked on the Seaview for next May from Barcelona. After viewing your video , we all decided that the ship was too "theme park" and "Las Vegas" for the experience we were hoping for. More suited for American tastes in the Caribbean than European in the Mediterranean. The central atrium entertainment especially seemed too loud, cheesy, annoying and some of the music and singers were actually was off-key. The atrium lighting would drive me nuts. We just came off a week on the MSC Lirica, a much older and smaller ship. That was for us a more relaxing cruise - no annoying glitz, more refined and "Italian" in decor. We decided to book on the new MSC Bellissima which leaves Barcelona a day earlier than the Seaview. That ship from the videos of its sister ship the MSC Meraviglia seems more what we were hoping for - more refined in the tradition of Italian Cruise Decor - less cheesy Caribbean Style glitz.

When was this filmed? I am surprised by how empty the ship is. Did you find many Americans or is it mostly Italians and Germans as I have heard. How was the food

I was onboard the last week, was the first cruise so the ship was not really full. From Genoa there where many Russians, Italians and Spanish, at Barcelona embarked many Americans. The food it's really good, there's 2 buffets one big at deck 8 and one thematic at deck 16. There are 2 main restaurants, with 3 turns of dinner.

Per l'audio purtroppo KZbin lo blocca per copyright. Mi piace lasciare l'audio live per sentire come è davvero una crociera. Però a volte succede questo e purtroppo lo si sa solo dopo aver effettuato l'upload, quindi l'unica soluzione è eliminare la parte incriminata.

Dipende da cosa preferisci, se cerchi una cabina dove si sente meno il mare meglio una al centro e in basso. Per la vista su questa nave le cabine con balcone a poppa sono molto belle perché puoi vedere la piscina

Grazie per il dettagliato tour! noi saremo sulla stessa nave a luglio!!!! solo un piccolo appunto: al minuto 00:20 e 35:17 scrivi erroneamente Bridge of Sights (ponte delle vedute) ma in realtà è Bridge of Sighs (ponte dei sospiri) 😉
